anyone can check if ss2 maxis center got arc or not ?

Just went to Maxis centre in Gardens to check out this phone.

They don't have the phone there, the worker say the phone is not available yet, and don't know when it will be available.

Whatever.

That particular Maxis centre is notorious for bad service anyway. But he did show me that they are going to have plans for it, 1499 for 24 months and 1759 for 12 months.

So I walked to SonyEricsson shop, which is not far away.

Yup, they have demo set there.

Ok, continuing my story.

So I went to the SE shop in Gardens, and they do have a demo set and stock available. The phone is priced at 2,099.

I have to say, this is a BRILLIANT phone.

For 2010.

Seriously, if they had released this phone around the same time as the SGS or the DHD even, this would have been a great phone.

It's still a very nice phone now, but knowing that the SGS2 is possibly just 1 month away, do I want to commit to this phone?

I wonder.

Btw, anyone notice that this phone is running Gingerbread?

I didn't notice this until the SE guy showed me, and proudly told me that this is the first phone with Gingerbread in Malaysia.

I countered by asking him what about the Nexus S?

He responded by saying Maxis is out of stock for Nexus S. This is the first phone featuring Gingerbread to land in Malaysia.

they sell ori set.. i guess the price is same as rrp now.. mine got it from thr b4 the launch today..
