Just for info, I have a RHB MasterCard Debit Card linked to my Saving Account and it is very easy to transfer money to Pay Pal. No fee to deposit fund into pay pal but I got charged RM3 when I transfer fund from pay pal to the savings account and it took about 3 days for the funds to be shown in the savings account.

recently i hav problem making pymt for my transaction using paypal, using the same debit card, i hav done a couple of successful pymnt before thru paypal. the pymnt beneficiary also the same, up to recently im getting this msg;

"We were unable to verify your credit or debit card. To proceed with your purchase, please select a different payment method or add a different credit or debit card, then click Continue."

My paypal is verified wit the very same cards, i hav alredy done a couple successful paymnt transaction thru this paypal acc.

i hav send email to paypal regarding this, they said it the card bank issue problem, so i havd contact my card service centre, they said its paypal problem for not including the 3 digit scs no. , and saying my card is fine.. again i hav contact paypal, still same answer to check wit my bank

Im using PBB ESSO Mobil Debit Card and PBB VISA electron, im hav this 2 card verified wit my paypal account, pls advice, tq

i just got myself a VISA electron debit card last month.. gt RM100 inside..

haven't try to use it yet~ maybe i will try it on web to buy somethign else xD

erm, may i ask is that how is it i know my debit card details? I kinda forgot about the exact details. As u see, paypal if not mistaken would like the exact information as given to apply for the debit card.

so as a PBB user, my card is a day2day debit card.

so do i have to register over a publicbank PB2Bank registration to enable me to know my card details?

Public Bank offers a whole range of Visa and MasterCard debit cards. You can just check out the requirements or visit their website for online registration. As for the linking of your debit card with your PayPal account, there is a verification process that you need to go through. Check out the process for the linking at Paypal website.

Can anyone tell me which debit card have prepaid card features like "topping up" or "reloading". I need the feature to set a limit and prevent money from taken out virtually(online/internet) or physically(stolen). Because I have saw some news about paypal taking your money from your account and then return it back.
Need to find a way to set my debit card (PB day2day Debit card) like the prepaid card, because I feel that the card linking to your saving/current account is unsafe. Please and thank you!

Public Bank has a few types of standalone debit card. Check it out.

You can pay online through Paypal without logging in. In other words, you don't need a Paypal account to pay money through Paypal.

Even if you log in, your Paypal account doesn't need to be verified. That means you can buy via Paypal without having your Paypal account to be linked with your debit/credit card.

today wanna confirm my card it said after waiting one day from maybank :

"The Card Verification System used by PayPal is currently unavailable. Please try to add your card at a later time. We apologize for this inconvenience"

how to settle this?

call cimb and ask them to allow paypal transaction

maybank by default disables paypal for security reason , call them to activate

Paypal charging RM 10 is standard thing , once you are verified , they credit RM 10 back to your paypal acocunt
CIMB allows internet transactions ?
