Just changed one unit (on top, next to timing belt) cost me RM50 (whole unit, metal + rubber). Not sure kena potong or not by my regular mechanic.
This is due to engine oil leaking, from 2x oil seal. Have to take out timing belt, etc. Since doing that, also change my 60k km timing belt (not due for another 20k km). Mechanic says and shows the belt is covered in oil, and recommend to change it, since it may crack easily or putus while driving (degraded). Sin-ka me ?
1x timing belt (RM80)
1x another belt (forgot) (RM10)
2x oil seal
+ labour for all
= RM200
Expensive or not ?
