Higher air flow also mean lower filtration. I can't remember where but there is a website that compare all these filters performance like hks, k&n and so on. I have use open pod before but now I'm only using the original setup plus a CAI. Open pod sound very nice. But kaki will gatal n keep flooring pedal till fc increases.
Added on July 27, 2011, 1:53 pm1.5 can be powerful. But fc no good. 4g93t can have same fc or even better also got power when u needed them. Without even mod, stock 4g93t is enough. Kekeke This post has been edited by wailup: Jul 27 2011, 01:53 PM |

Thanks for explaination. QUOTE(shinjite @ Jul 27 2011, 03:47 PM) Good filtration less air flow. High air flow bad filtration. It's really up to the user to decide. |

QUOTE(diamondclow @ Aug 4 2011, 12:19 AM) im not sure about the mileage but the seller might speak the truth because they purchase quite alot and mine is from a gov body that not travel too much.. most of the time idle in garage (maybe The mileage certainly can be tweaked. Mine was 30k something even though the car is yr 99. This was becoZ the speedo spoilt n changed a new one. let say, I change and service all above mentioned problem, how much it will cost? for the tires.. I gonna change all for to sport rim and new tires, and this one I need an opinion.. which one will suit better 15" or 16" ? I don't mind a bit higher in FC but in term of handling and cornering, which one will serve me better? For wira 1.5. 15 inch I believe is enuf. Now Im 1.8engine, still use 15 inch ah |

QUOTE(afosz @ Sep 5 2011, 12:19 PM) Is it worth it to let go my 1.5 AT and then get myself a GSR AT ? Less hassle for engine transplant etc. I have a friend letting it go at a very reasonable price. If cheap, go get it! But the condition must be all parts are not modified. N not rompak from somebody else de. KekekeQUOTE(xxboxx @ Sep 5 2011, 01:34 PM) If you yearn the power and your friend can be trusted to tell the truth about the car condition, why not. Better to buy from friend that you know how he maintain the car rather than from complete stranger. The gsr auto is also quite powerful already. QUOTE(nicks @ Sep 5 2011, 01:35 PM) When u get the at. Make sure to test the gearbox condition. Those who simply throw ATF into the gearbox will spoil it. |

QUOTE(ulost16 @ Sep 13 2011, 09:12 PM) Hai bro, Is ur fan running continously or intermittent. Mine was running intermittent n the temp raise up very slowly. This was due to a burn fuse. The aircond radiator fan fuse located at the opposite side of battery. It's weird that even with a burn fuse, the fan still work but for extreme short time. When fuse replaced, the fan turns longer time. N the temp doest rise anymore. The temperature is going up above the middle bar if the car moving above 80km/h. and it is going faster to one bar below the red bar if I use aircond while driving above 80km/h. So, If you were in my position, what first you will check? I plan to go to thermostat first..because it is the cheapest one than the others. Any recommended workshop to settle my problem?? How much if the thermostat is the problem? if waterpump? if the motor fan?? |

QUOTE(Lineage @ Sep 19 2011, 12:57 PM) Take your time bro..I got my Wira as second hand 2 years + ago..until now still not yet finish repair wear and tear parts and some minor problem parts.. I have mine 4g15 for 5yrs. Now 4g93t for 3yrs. I can say the first five year repair mostly accessories parts only. Now, nothing to repair much except those common servicing parts. Just make sure your important parts settle..you mentioned oil leakage? at which part? if its just a little bit, you can just ignore first since your budget tight right? Then save your money to do full overhaul..sekaligus solve your problem + gain performance back QUOTE(Shortyeyek @ Sep 19 2011, 01:30 PM) car is lik that wan, expected, touch abit thousand already. Half cut lagi pening, everytime servis servis although power is superb la. nw my fren all play satria 4g wira 4g all wan sell car already. LOL, all cannot tahan. Why change? I find mine good n cheap to maintain. KekekeQUOTE(ulost16 @ Sep 19 2011, 10:03 PM) Hai all, Nice. I'm thinking to change my radiator fan too. Seems like sucking up alot of amperage off my alternator. Batt will spoil in this condition becoz it's pulling more current. Then when fan off. The alternator charge the batt. This on n off charging kill the batt fast! Mine batt got exploded becoz of this.My previous problem about temperature keep going high is solved. First, the battery is not good anymore. So it cannot give enough power to my bad condition of fan motor. So I change the fan motor with the new one, and change the battery. The problem now has gone... |
