QUOTE(Devilc0de @ Jun 17 2006, 08:48 AM) got a problem oso when install vista. lost my audio driver n my system always hang.. now change back to xp. What you mean you lost your audio driver? Have your try install the audio driver manually (through the device manager) ? For the 1st time I try using the autorun from the cd installation but then failed (somewhat Vista cant install it, unknown error). By now Vista detect my sound driver as SoundMax (built-in audio driver by the mobo). But still cant hear the sound. As I mentioned just now, I try install through Device Manager by removing the SoundMax. I browse the Audigy software & install it (under the Sound, video & game controllers). It work This post has been edited by rad: Jun 19 2006, 06:25 AM |

QUOTE(6GDominator @ Jun 23 2006, 12:15 AM) thanks a lot. now burning and will try it later when format my computer. If you running a few programs such as YM, WLM, Firefox, iTunes/Winamp, there will be no lag. Some programs that belongs to WinXP are unappropriate/unsuitable for Vitsa & this will cause lag. You might want to disable appearance setting to boost up performance Repost : Microsoft Windows Vista Beta 2 Software Compatibility List This post has been edited by rad: Jun 23 2006, 06:47 AM |

QUOTE(afosz @ Jun 23 2006, 10:53 PM) can someone pls explain to me about these stuff in details?? It is in term of processor speed, not the FSB.about the processor, it is 1 GHz in terms of FSB or the normal GHz e.g Pentium 4 2.8 GHz/800 MHz..which one suits the requirements?the 2.8 GHz or 800 MHz?? IIANM, the 800MHz is the processor speed (eg. Pentium 3). This is the most 'cikai' spec that able to run Vista. If 800MHz is the at least requirement, that means Athlon 64/FX/Opteron is the spec. So, it's not the FSB. Correct me if Im wrong. This post has been edited by rad: Jun 24 2006, 07:17 AM |

Firewall: Windows Vista Beta 2 Software Compatibility List
Creative : Windows Vista - Driver Availability Chart There are 3 working firewall softwares in the software compatibility list. Try which suits you best. It seems your sound driver not listed in the chart. Try install it manually (read my previous post). |

QUOTE(kingmax @ Jan 18 2007, 02:58 PM) Both graphics memory & RAM are important. Your spec meets the requirement . 2GB ram is better |
