Hello, I'm planning on getting an OEM Vista Home Premium, since the non-OEM one is freaking expensive, and will kill my budget. Got a few questions though: OEM means you can only install on one PC, rite? Lets say I install on this PC now, then 1 year later I buy a new PC. To install to that, I need to call Microsoft or something? Also, what added things does Ultimate have, other than extra networking/System restore? Thanks

QUOTE(Matrix @ Feb 14 2007, 10:19 AM) Is it VISTA or XP drivers? Or is it still beta? Added on February 14, 2007, 10:21 amThis has been said many times already. Only change mobo considered as new PC. Otherwise it's fine. But actually u can change also, they're quite lenient i think. One guy running a shop said he has done that for customers when their mobo burst. MS still allow them to activate. O, thanks for the reply. Now all I need to know are the Vista Ultimate extras. This post has been edited by Zephro: Feb 14 2007, 11:06 AM

That's nice. Just that may convince me to get Ultimate instead. Hm.
