Hello, I'm planning on getting an OEM Vista Home Premium, since the non-OEM one is freaking expensive, and will kill my budget.

Got a few questions though: OEM means you can only install on one PC, rite? Lets say I install on this PC now, then 1 year later I buy a new PC. To install to that, I need to call Microsoft or something?

Also, what added things does Ultimate have, other than extra networking/System restore?

Thanks smile.gif

Is it VISTA or XP drivers? Or is it still beta?

This has been said many times already. Only change mobo considered as new PC. Otherwise it's fine.

But actually u can change also, they're quite lenient i think. One guy running a shop said he has done that for customers when their mobo burst. MS still allow them to activate.

O, thanks for the reply. Now all I need to know are the Vista Ultimate extras.

That's nice. Just that may convince me to get Ultimate instead.
Hm.
