too expensive for a 3rd world country like ours...how can anyone afford the ultimeate version!?!

its like 1/2 the price of a new (poorman's) PC!

i think i shall wait for the 'special-extra-cheap-version' from our fellow multicolour hair frens brows.gif whistling.gif

yes, and the reason we are so hyped is that we have waited long enough for Vista to arrive. Yes, XP is still useable, but I want to try Vista more than ever to get comfortable with it, just like I did when ME --> XP years ago.

i'm using vista 5744 on my first partition of 80gb hard disk. i'm tring to install build 5840 on the second partiton. all of installation process going fine until the last one, completing installation. when windows reboot, the installation not going to complete the process but go head to log on screen of my 5744.

i opened program files folder in the second partition and sure that it is 5840 version.

so any comment?? help me please!!!

i'm trying also to install another os ( xp media center 2005 ) and the same thing happened. i think i've make some change on my boot setting. how to make it default and run installation process as usual anyway ??

++ currently downloading vista 6000 rtm + office 2007 drool.gif ++

Vista don't use boot.ini anymore. instead they use a BCD file. you need to edit that. but sadly, it's not editable. can oly use dos to edit that

1 thing bad about vista is it makes your hdd to spin almos every moment, do you notice that ?
