official vista RC1 download:
http://download.windowsvista.com/preview/rc1/en/download.htm

Thank you for your interest in Windows Vista Release Candidate 1.

This page includes information to help you download the Windows Vista RC1 ISO file. Once you complete the download you must burn the ISO file to a DVD. If you don't know if your DVD-burning software will support burning an ISO file, please refer to your DVD-burning software program and search Help for instructions on creating a disc from an ISO file. Additional instructions can be found on the Customer Preview Program website.

Before upgrading from Beta 2 to RC1, please install any Critical Updates from Windows Update for Beta 2. Go to Start, All Programs, Windows Update, and click the "Check for Updates" button.

Windows Vista RC1 is available for participants of the Windows Vista Customer Preview Program. Please go to the Customer Preview Program website to register and receive a Product Key, which is required to install and activate the software.

The final major pre-release of Windows Vista-Release Candidate 1 (RC1)-is now available for priority access by Customer Preview Program (CPP) participants only. If you registered for this program in June, please look for a recent e-mail message from Microsoft (sent in early September) with information regarding RC1. If you are not registered but would like to receive Windows Vista RC1, the CPP will open to new participants in the coming weeks. Please check this site periodically for updates.

can this vista RC1 support my current games and software?

arg!! after i have activated my rc1, i got the welcome screeen
i have used the help support to search the way to disable it, but the result from the search is that vista welcome screen cannot be disabled
i think there must be a way to disable, as first few times i boot my vista without the welcome screen

you can install it without key biggrin.gif
