It is confirmed to be the dual boot. No such problem will exist without vista dual boot and the problem can be resolved by removing vista.

New update: XP's explorer.exe will sort of hang now. For me to boot in XP, I need to end explorer.exe and restart explorer.exe

Using dual boot now.

No conflict whatsoever with Windows XP. Have you tried re-installing WinXP or using systerm restore to recover?

based on this build, i think the new color scheme is the new features right ?
and the graphic look smoother ... no more gigi d~~

after i have used it for a while, i feel that this build is much more stable than beta 2
i planed to use it till rc1 released!! haha since everything is working in this build without any big big problem!
the performance of the os is also increased! first boot up, the os only takes about 600mb ram,the developers still trying to reduce the ram usage! happy.gif

be patient the rc1 will be release at 8th of sept if i am not mistaken !
i think rc1 will be more stable !

Leaked prices for Windows Vista (in Canadian dollar, exchange rate to RM is around 1 to 3.3)
http://www.msfn.org/comments.php?shownews=18159

There won't be much difference to the current WinXP prices, not sure about the OEM price yet but I guess they will be much cheaper smile.gif

Thank you for your interest in Windows Vista.
This page includes information to help you download the Windows Vista pre-RC1 ISO file. This pre-RC1 build is available for a limited time - we will close the program when we reach 100,000 downloads.
After downloading, please install and test the build as soon as possible.  Most importantly, if there is a crash, hang, or error - please make sure that you send the information back to us using the built-in Windows Error Reporting technology (a dialog box will display automatically).  Sending this information is essential to helping us improve the overall quality of Windows Vista - and collecting this information is the primary purpose of distributing this pre-RC1 release.

Once you complete the download you must burn the ISO file to a DVD. If you don't know if your DVD-burning software will support burning an ISO file, please refer to your DVD-burning software program and search "Help" for instructions on creating a disc from an ISO file.

Some oversized screenshots being disabled, it is OKAY to show off, but please either use thumbnails or 640*480 in order not to affect other people surfing this thread vmad.gif laugh.gif
