firstly this phone not actually CSL brand, its a variant from motorola branded(forgot what model)..

pros
1.u get quiet good spec with super cheap price compared to other brand same spec.
2.many support for this phone, eg, custom rom, easy to root also.
3.multitouch, compared to sony x8 which is more expensive but got smaller screen and only support single touch.
4.can use nokia battery, means easier for u to find battery replacement.

cons?
1.CSL logo on the back?
2.no 3rd party casing available here
3.dunno which shop can repair if got hardware prob.

for web browsing, just install opera 11, nicer.

dats all i can think about rite now, maybe other forum-er can add more.but this should give u the idea of how worth this phone compared to other brand which got same spec. tq.

did u change to stock recovery first?
