nb0 is the format of the ROM. Here's the step by step.

1- download Phantom King rev2
2. download & install SUT & launch it http://uploading.com/files/7942c5ef/SUTLR_v1.7.0.zip/
3 connect phone in download mode n flash it
3.1. press HANG UP button, VOLUME UP and POWER to enter Download mode.
3.2. and your phone is entering Download mode with something iterate with black background screen
3.3. Open up the SUT application and browse nb0 file that you need to install to your phone.
3.4. you can see "Next" button on SUT application, it means your phone is detecting.
3.5. just click next till the progress bar /flashing stuff appears and wait to it to finish.
3.6 voila..

I suggest please put Salim' How to recover to stock rom", i think this is very
important for noob (like me)ppl who make a mess when try to flash custom nbo and want to reverse bacK to stock rom.
And the tutoral of flashing custom rom into 2 types
1) flashing using rom manager for zip file
2) flashing using SUT LR for nbo file
This will be like A or B ,zip rom use A, nbo file use B
What u guy think?

i want convert ext3 to ext4, is it possible using windows xp??
the software that i use quite old. only support till ext3 only.

so fast to phantom, still remember the time i still stuck at firetrap various rom moment, kept mod , restore back, flash another, restore back, flash another, everyday change another rom
i happy with it, enjoy with it, this is a nice phone

The CSL i300 battery is similar to Nokia BL6F - why negative effect - same type of battery ?? There are 2 types of N95 : BL5F n BL6F - get the BL6F

Why would you want to remove Google account - without it you cannot access Market to download apps - is a compulsory requirement. It is also very useful to sync contacts/calendars if you have such in your Gmail account. Unless you are downloading illegal/warez apps from elsewhere, than no comments
You will be missing a lot of Android experience without the Google account , example voice activated features - search, voice navigation , speech to text etc

alot of experience we have to pick up ourself learn up ourself instead of jsut giving up, i face alot of problem duh, no imei no service provider problem, recovery mode hang, gps error lar, apps kept hanging lar, learn try learn try, now still learning, partition thing, and try to recover the boot screen, too many things to learn lar~! thanks, good phone, good guildline and shifus here

omg...i duno how to downgrade...shit...currently using 2.1 system..cuz last time the shop people help me upgrade de..which stage i can straight upgrade to ? 2.3 or 2.2 ??

Actually I don't see much difference , if any between Phantom King v2 against v1. Noticeable difference is the quadrant scores - the highest I ever recorded on v1 was 938
I'd like to know what was change in v2 , but no changelog available yet

You do have a point

If you have backup stock CSL original rom, just use it. It is NOT necessary to flash the stock Spice rom . I have tested both

That's why I say in the beginning, for those who have yet start to flash any cook rom, ALWAYS backup a copy of the original CSl rom. It is very useful.

During my tests, I noted a strange occurrence BUT it is not repetitive - sometimes you will lose your network, sometimes you will not.
Losing network means you cannot call/SMS/no data - Call settings are greyed out.
Sometimes, you can reset the network by just settings/wireless network/mobile networks - tick n untick n tick " Always connect to Mobile". But at times it just cannot work. So the only solution was flash back the original CSL then flash new rom

I flash my latest Phantom King v2 straight from King v1 without any issues

I'd said that is actually no hard and fast rule - I realized this after testing several options. But the GOLDEN guide is always flash back to stock than to new rom - just follow this if you are not confident

Consolation - unlikely you will ever brick your phone. So don't worry - experiment it yourself

i meant from 2.1(eclair) you may upgrade to 2.2 (froyo) or 2.2 ( gingerbread)

the donut (1.6), cupcake (1.5)..its just a joke

He means go UP and not DOWN to lower Android versions of 1.6 and below ( he is quoting you the 2 dessert names of the lower versions )

guys, recommend me a nice keyboard that have T9 and qwerty option..swype in this rom did not work, i spent alot of time reading at androidPT forum which is in portugese,seems everyone got this prob except flph..

btw yeah i've used the restore from 2.1 nandroid backup (not so stock anymore) to flash another 2.2... most of the times its ok.but not advisable.

among errors i've encountered (with/without wipe data after restore 2.1 before flashing)

- IMEI 'lost' = no network access
- infinite loop @bootscreen of newly flashed rom

if you really like swype (which i really do)

i'd suggest you register & download the swype installer, to get latest ver & updates.

i just kinda get the feeling that once a newer version is up, the current version on phone stops swyping...maybe..

Using your email and password , you can always have access to download their latest updates - no need to worry about your version expiring and not working or hunting all over the internet for latest apk

This registration is on limited time offer - do it before expiry

totally. but u'll have to 'teach' it. as it learns and inserts new words as you type. later on the words are swpe-able say if ur a heavy sms-er 2-3 days will teach it lotsa words

apart from english, i heavily use shortforms & sarawak malay for sms

whew..at least it can save word for future use..glad to here it..im trying rite now..

the other question is, how to uninstall swype in SF rom?

just delete it via root manager install another keyboard 1st if no other keyboard is installed..just to be safe.

flashed 2.3 rom but ends up stuck at CSL boot screen.
tried with clockworkmod method and nb0 method.both failed.any recommendations?

make sure when u restore to store the imei num is there

normally b4 i update/change to other rom I usually downgrade [flash] to 2.1, any 2.1 rom using sutlr, then flash back to the targeted rom using sutlr again...else the imei will lost if don't do that

also...my quadrant score seems ..lower than 8xx now ..probably due to bg software..will try again..

Phantom King v2 :Data enable & some sms since 3h ago,just eat 40% of battery usage.

Last night,i tried to flash back to CM7RC2 but no mobile network signal.

I'm using phantom sky rev1, been running at 800Mhz for few hours now and no problems so far. Battery drain is too slow to notice, most of my battery drain is because of phone idle and cell network , almost like on 600Mhz.
Not overheating too, but I didn't have any 3d games to test, lazy haha

going to sg soon, sg all is iphone user, i sure they will big eyes on my pon when i be ter...

no such option. thats why its advisable to back to 2.1 before attempting flash again.

flashed with SUT,my phone can boot but still boot in stock ROM even i choosed custom ROM.(it shows error bla bla bla in SUT)
using CW recovery,it just stuck at CSL logo.

try verifying the dloaded file (nb0) if its correct or not..

tick the' erase user data' too when proceed with flashing on the SUT

thats what i can say for now..

as for Rom Manager method (zip)..jz follow the steps on the FP and u'll be fine.
keep in mind in requires a clockworkmod recovery tho 3.X.X
trace where went wrong.

No need to download full NBO for Rev2 (asked Phantom myself )

Just use update script to update from rev1 to rev2
UPDATE SCRIPT

Click on the image and use the SL4A -> Choose Add + Barcode Scan -> Click on the name of the script -> Choose the 1st icon
They need an internet connection
Go to download at least 5MB

Changelog :

increased battery life, gingerbread sounds, flashlight app fixed.

On SL4A after it say no superuser , press enter and aloow and wait
