thanks for the info.. i did some googling and found out that most toyota uses MultiplexOBD and not the standard OBDII protocol..
have to use special tool for toyota.. found one by DTDAuto in vietnam but the price tag is out of my budget..
if you could find one that is below rm200 please pm me.. I guess many toyota users (especially the ones that cant use OBDII) would want to have it..
