Hi any comments for this laptop Asus A43E- VX067, 2 gig DDR3, intel graphics , freedos? RM1699, pricelist from C-zone.

Mainly for bit torrent, watch HD movies, msn, check email, facebook and occasionaly play ancient games like Diablo 2 and Dota, maybe Starcraft 2.

Is this model free of Sandy bridge chipset issue?

Budget is less than 2K.

Actually, is Asus a good brand? I heard good comment about it.

I am quite wary of Dell products , it seems to be lacking in quality control nowadays. My mom and brother's laptop display broke down after 1 year.

HP is quite good for me, but their offers seem to be quite lagging behind in terms of specs, and their website is a pain to surf.

Acer, not sure about it though although I heard the after sales service is good.
