A bit contradicting since you said not required gaming but reject Intel GPU?

I have experience of intel gpu... in long term; its screw.

I can give you a summary of how screwed is the gpu is.

Intel Graphic > Nvidia GPU > AMD ATI gpu..

Intel graphic will do good for awhile for barely heavy graphic work or intense usage of graphic. But once you go higher usage; there is a hold back; bcos its not that powerful enough to do this.

Nvidia not after 2 years start to make hell lots of issue; would rather stay away; unless nvidia have really rectified themself are better in lifespan.

AMD ATI; been using it for dell laptop i6000, 4 years. So far have never make any issue. Durability is there.

October is still a long way to go... you should wait until then only purchase... the technology then will be a lot different than what we have now  nod.gif

I know HDMI is common; but im referring to hardware specs.

Processor, GPU

For the underlined part, if you're not into gaming, there's really noneed to worry about the performance of the integrated Intel GPU?  hmm.gif
Anyway, most laptops come with "dual" GPUs nowadays, you won't be able to "avoid" one; and the Intel HD3000 is a very big leap from its predecessor in terms of performance  laugh.gif
Unless you've tried out all Nvidia and AMD GPUs and have solid statistics to prove that Nvidia is shorter lasting, it will still remain as a speculation  nod.gif

AMD llano is coming?  laugh.gif
And who knows, its technology, anything can come out... 5 months is a very very long time in the technological world  laugh.gif

Ic, okay.

Why do u just refer to gaming as it need good gpu.
How about basic graphic works? isnt it worth better be other than Intel GPU? hmm.gif

Yeap, a GPU will come in handy depending on what you're doing  nod.gif

If only Dell and Asus:
