QUOTE(sookie02 @ Apr 21 2011, 12:05 AM) True. But except for my addiction to rpgs, I would totally get a netbook. Sigh. No other options out there? Netbook with fast processor? HP-dm1z @Rm1499 and upgrade to SSD?

QUOTE(imin @ Apr 21 2011, 09:55 AM) since asus buat lawak again and won't bring e350 here, it seems i'm stucked with either c50(eee1215b) or atom n570 dual core (eee 1015pw). i'm going to buy this for my mum.. so which one is better? in terms of performance and battery life? thanks Get HP Dm1... It's the best choice and bargain for the price...

QUOTE(imin @ Apr 21 2011, 10:07 AM) it's about rm1.4k++ right? i think it's a bit overprice for my mom Yea someone got it for RM1.44k... It justifies the higher price cause it comes with W7HP instead of Free-Dos/W7S... Else get any other netbooks with C-50, much better than Atom...

D: i'm gonna buy it soon, but i see the flex keyboard very ahem. mind telling me the model your talking about ? its HP right ? Yup HP-dv6... You can get it with BEATS SOLO HEADSET for rm3699 or without it for rm3199 from Marcus20125.. It's the best bargain nowadays.. Go check out reviews from users in the dedicated thread..

QUOTE(joonwei23 @ Apr 21 2011, 07:22 PM) ouch, the solo headset so exp. anyways, the the Graphic card compared to the NV 550GT alot of difference ? and N52SV comes together with usb 3.0, HP-dv6 doesn't come with a usb 3.0 yeah ? oh 1 more thing, I heard HP-dv6 has heating problem ? is it true ? Dv6 few generations before did have heat problems.. But the recent models is quite normal according to users in the forum.. Yea the only downside is no USB3.0, but if you're in for gaming the HD6770 is much stronger than 550M.. The headphones worth around rm899, if you want, you can try to buy the rm3699 one and sell the headphone for rm700..

Ram you can easily upgrade urself what? 4gb only around rm130 or less... If you're a gamer, dv6 is really the best choice for rm3.2k handsdown..
Not sure about msi cooling, but all mainstream laptops should be quite similar.. Maybe dv6 GPU hotter cause too powerful dy lol..

QUOTE(JYong @ Apr 21 2011, 11:21 PM) LOL...too powerful doesn't means will produce more heat. You should try the laptop one by one then you only know it~ Radeon HD 6770M 480@725MHz Radeon HD 6750M 480@600MHz Radeon HD 6730M 480@725MHz Radeon HD 6650M 480@600MHz Radeon HD 6630M 480@485MHz Well it's the highest clock GPU in it's architecture family and running GDDR5.. Very likely to produce more heat..
