So, if you're into gaming, its best that you try to top up to get the better HP Dv6 and Asus N53Sn at RM3.2k, the performance difference is very well worth the additional top up (if you're gaming)...
Specs as follow:

If strictly under RM3k (15"):

^ I've no idea what you're talking about lol laugh.gif
Anyway, the processors usually comes in batches, for instance... for them Arrandale i3 processors...It was i3-330M> i5-350M > i5-370M then only i3-380M...
They don't usually release the most powerful one in the beginning based on what I've seen nod.gif

12" would be a good trade off though. I understand the pain sometimes when using a 10" screen and keyboard but you can't deny the portability of such a device. laugh.gif
Minimum sometimes also not very helpful and accurate. I can run CS5 on my older laptop no problem.
*
True, my friend was showing me CS4 on his 8.9" Asus netbook, 1st of its kind LOL, and its not even Atom powered summore laugh.gif
Laggy, but usable sweat.gif

Many thanks lee_what sifu, very educative notworthy.gif notworthy.gif
Seems like CS5 is going to be a lot more user friendly
So only the GPUs mentioned in the list above are capable of supporting the GPU acceleration?
They all seemed to be very high-end ones haha~

Besides Acer and ASUS? Did ASUS improve its service? My friend had bad experience with their after-sales service. blush.gif
You may refer to my Flickr for my noobie shots. blush.gif
Picky eh? I didn't know that. laugh.gif
For no.8, Vostro 3350 has. sad.gif
laugh.gif PF T.J. suggested those to me few days ago. laugh.gif

Asus and Acer both serviced by Highpoint...
Hehe, I go check them out nao laugh.gif
Eh, you should just stick to 3350 imho, get the famous Dell warranty and you'll be fine rclxms.gif

Sorry for the Lelong link but need your advice, my friend went to LYP today to check out for me, he said this model is quite OK... But 320GB.. sad.gif Luckily I have a 500GB 2.5" portable HDD...
*
Your photos are really nice la, no kidding nod.gif Some are real funny haha~
The Toshiba Satellite L645 are super glossy and super outdated, not really recommended... same goes to the new Satellite L745 which are still glossy, heavy, has short battery life, soft speakers... but they are reliable though

I just browsed the fliers I got from PC Fair last time (mid-April) and nearly shouted out for it's really a good bargain (unfortunately I missed it ==) :

Acer Aspire 5742-i5
Intel Core i5-520M (2.4GHz, Turbo Boost to 2.96GHz)
Windows 7 Home Premium
4GB DDR3 RAM
320GB Hard Drive
15.6"

at only RM1899!! (and it stated normal price is RM2199)

I checked with Acer official website and the price stated there is RM2999 ==

I think this was indeed a typo error
*
i5-520M? That's a very old model haha~
What are you looking for my friend? laugh.gif

Good question, the speakers in the Acer TimelineX 4830Tg and Asus A43Sv are also soft... try not to expect too much from budget-line laptop speakers hehe~
You could always soft the problem by getting external, much better ones nod.gif
