As a consumer you have a brain too - dont just wait for the government to sort out your life for you.

Since it's proven scientifically to do harm - dont buy. Dispose all the BPA-laced items you already have.

This is quite true...

At first, they released a new material that does not contain bisphenol-A but never disclose whats the other stuffs used in it. Later some mad but free scientist will go on another test and found that some other chemical in the bottle will affect this and that.

secara ringkas ade 3 jenis, PC(polycarbonate),PP(Polypropyene) dan PES (polyethersulfone)

PP and PES bebas BPA yg merbahaya. PES lebih tahan lasak dari PP.

Jangan beli lah botol susu ada BPA tu, sudah. Nak tunggu kerajaan haramkan bagai, buat apa? Habis tu, kalau awak dah tahu, tapi pegi beli jugak buat apa? Nanti bila anak dah sakit, nak cakap ke, "eh, tapi, tapi kerajaan tak haramkan lagi. saya ingatkan lepas 2012 baru botol BPA ni boleh buat anak saya sakit"

Maybe she/he's a seller of baby stuff and there are a lot of BPA bottles in stock?

I think, due to this being in Pregnancy & Parenting, previous poster was tending to describe items used by infants and kids. Now wouldn't everyone like to minimise any danger to their children?

Breast milk pun ada BPA, you need to avoid a lot of product to keep your breast milk free from BPA

from what i know BPA is harmful if put hot liquid in it.. like it can dissolve the BPA or something.. if u put normal temperature stuff, should be no issue.. need to go and read up the BPA stuff here
