can you copy off ur files to another external drive? keep in mind HDD is a fragile device due to a lot of mechanical parts. you should have a backup

3.3 Checking and repairing NTFS fle systems
There is only limited support for checking and repairing NTFS fle systems at this time. The best way
to repair a damaged NTFS volume is using chkdsk in Windows.
If you install NTFS-3G for Mac OS X, you will fnd that it includes a utility called ntfsfx, which can
repair some fundamental inconsistencies of NTFS volumes. This utility is currently
not integrated with the fle system bundle, and thus can't be invoked through Disk Utility, because
of reports that it has corrupted some users' NTFS drives.
If you want to try it out despite these warnings, you will have to invoke it manually, from the
Terminal. Type “man ntfsfx” for usage info.

there is some application regarding drive in mek, such as Drive genius, diskwarrior... But keep in mind, I'm using this one with mek formatted drive, not windows formatted drive.

Trying fixing ntfs partition using Mac disk utilities is surely asking for more trouble. Why don't you try to fix this on your PC instead? From another thread, it seems that you're not using hardware from Apple.. if yes, then it so much easier, there're lot of available software that you could use to fix the ntfs problem.. and I believe this thread is not belong to this forum.
