QUOTE(donwannaloseher @ Mar 17 2011, 01:39 PM) What's the difference between AMEX and Visa? Besides the cash back %? Why the need for 2 cards? because not all places can use amex. the visa card can keep in drawer because it only give 0.5% rebate.

just had a chat with amex and they mention, that all cards will receive 10k tp if you actively use either the amex or visa card. the tp will appear in the visa side, and tax will be charged 1 month after the activation of card. i never realise that there is another bank giving 0.8% of rebate also so far the best is our amex of 7.5% weekends, 2.5 weekday, and credit card is 0.5% ocbc of course is the best at 1% but limit to rm50 and this small bank that my colleague is using.... 0.8%!!! for everything and no limit wondering which is that? http://www.affinbank.com.my/ccards/benefit.htmthe catch? have to spend >rm1500 per month more catch - no bonus points for petrol and gov linked payments. ya esso is my fav station now. weekends 5%+2.5%+1.5%= 9% discount!! weekdays 2.5+1.5 = 4% no good. use back citibank cashback got 5% so weekdays with citibank is 5%+1.5% = 6.5%
the 1.5% is the esso smile card rewards. so far all the esso i tried got no problem.
