I feel M2 Amex is a good card for overseas usage during weekend provided the merchant accept Amex as I did my own calculation, even with its high charges for overseas transaction, we can still "earn" some rebates after offsetting overseas charges with 5% rebate and 5X TP.

My spending in SG last month for M2Amex:
S$42.52 => RM105.68 (Rate @ 2.485) 5% rebate I get back around RM5.28... Assume exchange rate @ 2.41, it would be RM102.47. Then bank charge is around RM3.21. I still "earn" a bit from the rebate... |
