Yes, I purposely requested that my Maybankard 2 Amex Platinum be replaced with a new card 2 days ago. And today, I received the new card (only Maybankard 2 Amex Platinum) via Poslaju.

Just checked my account, RM50 has been billed to my account too on 16 Apr 2011. In my MBB2 AMEX account, it is stated there that service tax has been paid (SERVICE TAX PAID - PRINCIPAL). I received my MBB2 cards around 20th January, by the way.

Amex GST is waived while GST visa/master is charged, mine visa also charged on 16 apr, my mbb2 cards approved on 17th feb. From here, we can know that Visa are charged to all mbb2 cards holder in same time, that is 16 apr.
Between, on 17 Mar, Amex gst waived

No. They did not charge wrong. They will do the usual thing which is to bill you the credit card service tax to your MBB2 AMEX and then help you to pay for it as clearly stated as being waived in the product disclosure sheet. We still have to pay for the credit card service tax for MBB2 VISA/MasterCard ourselves though.

Ya, amex is waived, while visa/master need to pay GST

I am still waiting for my first statement, just reached one month since card approval. However, there is still no info about it in M2U.

Payment due date:  N/A
Statement date:  N/A

Is this normal? Thanks.

I see. That's good. I wanted to do that, but not sure if can or not. Thanks for the clarification.
In that case, does your statement appear as RM 0.00? If you sometime pay more than the outstanding balance, does it appear as -RMx.xx?
Just curious.
*
ya, appeared RM0.00 if pay exact the outstanding bill, if pay more appeared -RMx.xx

The interest is counted based on your outstanding balance. No joke on the interest.

I made another attempt to request for a replacement card again today and everything went smoothly. A Malay guy answered my call and didn't ask a lot of questions like why do i want to get a replacement card.

CS : Good Afternoon ! How can i help you ?
Me : Hello ! I want to request for a replacement card please.
CS : Sure. Can i get you card number ?
Me : xxxx xxxxxx xxxxx
CS : Hold on please
Me : Sure
CS : Mr. ... ... ...
Me : Yes. That's me.
CS : You want a replacement card just for the AMEX ?
Me : Yes. Just the AMEX. And can you please waive the replacement card fee ?
CS : Yes ... no problem. Replacement card is always free anyway ...
Me : [surprise] ... oh ... yeah ???
CS : Yeah. So which branch do you want me to send it to ?
Me : rrr ... can you send it to my house ?
CS : You'll be home all the time ?
Me : Yeah
CS : Ok ... (confirming my house address)
Me : Yes. Correct. When can i get it ?
CS : By next week
Me : Alright. Thank you.
CS : Ok. Have a nice day. Bye.

Such a friendly chap. I'm also deeply surprised when he said replacement card is always given out free because the last CS i talked to said a fee is chargeable. Anyway, my experience with Maybank is always a pleasant one thus far  thumbup.gif

Anyway, have any of you noticed anything wrong with the Treatpoints in your card account ? I've used both my MBB2 AMEX and MBB2 VISA and the TP in my MBB2 VISA is missing. I do however noticed an increase in the TP of my MBB2 AMEX which i suspect they may have transferred the TP accumulated through my MBB2 VISA over to my MBB2 AMEX account. Is this normal since i didn't request so ? I'm not sure if there is any missing TP, will only find out when the next statement comes next month.

Mine is my MBB2 amex treat point go to Amex gold Membership point sweat.gif
