Finally got my VISA card and called to cancel my MasterCard.
The person told me it needs 10 working days to get it cancelled and I'll need to destroy it from my end.

anyone knows when is the cut off date for statement every month, i.e until which last date will they charge on the your statement every month? Is everyone's date different. I remember my gold card last time was around 12th, not sure still the same.

I have no problem swipe AMEX at Carrefour around noon yesterday.

last time i use for agoda booking on weekend, the transaction date appeared 2 days later than the real date and not entitle for discount

emailed my application i think on 11.5 if not 12.5, got it recorded in the system on 12.5, chased everyday for approval and finally rec a sms ard 6 saying it has been approved.  4-5 days, i would say quite fast.

how long wil it take to reach the selected branch?

jz checked today at m2u, the card details have been listed there.  got Visa plat, although initially, was offered Master and asked to convert, which they did.  quite disappointingly, the CL was as low as other cards, unlike my DA, which has a slightly higher CL.  Sigh

bought Tun Mahathir book at Tesco on weekends. got 5x points, 5% rebate, and 1000 extra tesco points! hehe, really happy with my amex card

Applied for the platinum card, today check M2U stated i only got the Gold card, anyone tried to upgrade their card before?

mine just got rejected, this is the second time Maybank reject my cc application (first time was 1 year ago)  I don't understand, I applied with my existing card with 10k limit (more than 1 year old), shouldn't it be suffice to the application? 

I got rejected twice by HSBC and Maybank before getting my current EON card...and this is the first time after my current card

Consider approved? Waiting for the cards... No call or sms also.

Lunch time was at IOI Mall's Starbucks to get 4 drinks. Was told that can't split in 2 transactions (in order to get 2 free drinks).

Finally ended up with 2 transactions with 2 different Amex cards.

Meaning that can not split into 2 transactions with 1 Amex card, but can split into 2 transcation with 2 different Amex card.

Normally how long will receive the cards after receive the confirmation sms?

So far no one has come forward to claim that their bills are auto-debited during weekend and they get 5% rebate from that. It's hard to tell...
