I believe that's not one of the main criteria to get application approved. Maybankard 2 Gold and Platinum Credit Cards, AMEX with Visa or MasterCard

QUOTE(mikecmy @ May 9 2011, 12:26 AM) Did they request payslip from you? For my case, they didn't. Sometimes I'm wondering if we can lie on the figure to ensure our application gets approved? (if our annual income doesn't reach 30k la) This post has been edited by fruitie: May 9 2011, 12:38 AM |

QUOTE(mikecmy @ May 9 2011, 12:40 AM) they did, since i'm new/new customer. Surprisingly, this is my first credit card with Maybank. Earlier the only thing I have with them is my saving account. no credit cards and stuffs. Actually there is no way they'll reject ur case if u got a credit card with have CL more than a specific amount. Lying in application form doesn't seem wrong. My colleague which annual income less than 30k/year also get a plat from CitiBank where their staff wrote 70k/annum on the salary column |

QUOTE(mikecmy @ May 9 2011, 01:38 AM) Nope, didn't do anything because I had no intention to add CC besides my CIMB DA but they called to offer me. Never heard of this Maybankard2Gold until I stumbled upon this thread. No, I didn't fill up anything, everything via a 15 minutes phone call... |

QUOTE(mikecmy @ May 9 2011, 01:46 AM) Oh, didn't see that it was ur first with Maybank. I'm not sure if my CIMB DA record is visible for them but I have never delayed any of my payment and it is 100% full payment all the time. If that is the reason then it is much justified now because my SA is really a trolley kecik. Maybe ur CL/payment for DA is quite good and your SA a big trailer, hence the pre-approved card |

How long does it take for the TP to reflect correctly?
Today I bought a Dell laptop online and charged it to my AMEX. Not long after that, an AMEX staff called to verify my purchase. After verification, then Dell proceeded with my order and checked my M2U, the transaction has been reflected but not the TP. Usually it is quite fast based on my previous transactions... Don't tell me online purchase is not eligible for TP? That is 12880 TP.... |

Nope, Dell staff will only proceed the purchase on Mon-Fri.
Nevertheless, I got RM 100 discount from the Dell staff. Now I'm worried about the TP, hopefully nothing happens. |

Yeah, I shall wait till this Friday to see if the updated TP will show on my M2U.
Forgot to update about my VISA, as expected they delivered it to my hometown yesterday and parents can't sign on my behalf. At least the CS attended to my case yesterday was rather helpful and so I just closed one eye else I'll definitely file one official complaint. Luckily I'm going back this weekend to celebrate belated Mothers' Day and sister's birthday. |

QUOTE(ch_teo @ May 11 2011, 09:32 PM) indeed. Eh, you also the same? Gosh, I thought I was the only one. stated in my application form to courier to office but they courier to house. so i phoned up + wrote in a complain at M2U.com. start to f* them in the phone. ask them to reroute the package to office. from 1st day sent in e-mail to apply until receive the Visa + Amex almost 4 weeks. bcos stuck at poslaju for almost 2 weeks and then reroute back to maybank & reroute back to office in s'pore. they do not pay attention to application form details. 1) Told them I wanted an AMEX+VISA, they gave me AMEX+Mastercard. 2) Told them to post to my office, they even called to my office to verify my address, yet they sent it to my hometown. 3) Called and scolded them. They said anybody can sign for me. Poslaju refused to allow my parents to sign on my behalf. I had to go back and collect from the collection counter. 4) Asked them to resend my VISA to office, repeated gazillion times that it must be sent to my office. All CS confirmed my office address, finally the last CS said it was already on its way to my hometown! Again! 5) Poslaju refused again and I have to go back this week to collect my VISA. What kind of people they hire in the centre?! I had no issue with my DA, I only told them once and they sent to my office without delay and flaw! |

QUOTE(guanteik @ May 11 2011, 10:34 PM) I came to know that for this M2Cards, we cannot opt to have AMEX + VISA + MASTER. Only AMEX+VISA or AMEX+MASTER, anyone can confirm this? It's called Maybankard2card what. For those who are having the same problem with fruitie, I believe you guys fall into this situation I mentioned above, where you couldn't get a VISA but a MASTER. Erm, I got my VISA, it was a miscommunication within their internal. QUOTE(ch_teo @ May 11 2011, 10:34 PM) you are definitely right DA no issue, direct courier to office. if not bcos of the 5% weekend cash rebate & lifetime fee waived, i would have not applied. as DA petrol rebate promo has ended. DA increased my CL 3 times within 2 years. stick with DA since year 2006. I think DA also lifetime fee waived right? Yeah, I don't think I'll terminate my DA too. i f* them in the phone and direct them what solutions were they providing. asked them immediately do it in their database. i realise they have communication breakdown between the CC dept. & parcel courier dept. they do not communicate. i decided to f* the cc dept. instruct them to communicate with parcel courier dept. and vice versa in the phone when realising they do not communicate. i phoned both dept. in order to make sure things happened as what i wanted. if not bcos the parcel stuck in poslaju center for around 2 weeks, i would have received my cc within 2 weeks instead of 4 weeks plus. I got this Maybankard 2 Gold because they called and offered me. Mana tau, the hassle and frustration I got... |

QUOTE(sleepwalker_00 @ May 12 2011, 12:18 PM) I have a bad feeling that I'll be rejected because I am a contract worker. They said contractor not yet eligible to apply but can try. Plus contract worker has higher salary than permanent. It should be that way la, at least for me. |

QUOTE(sleepwalker_00 @ May 12 2011, 01:34 PM) Ya, I also feel that, contract worker also can get high salary what, dunno why the consultant still want to emphasize contract in the application form. No worry la. hopefully they don't reject my application. I got my DA and Maybankard 2 Gold with my contract employment. It's the salary that matters. If possible, I wanna continue being a contract staff until one day I wanna settle down. Now being a consultant, on contract basis looks good for me. Actually they didn't ask me if I'm a permanent or contract but I told Maybank telemarketer that I'm on contract basis, she said no issue on that. |
