Finally I get to see my M2GC on my M2U.

I hope to receive the cards by this Friday.

Meh, the credit limit is the same compared to my CIMB DA though she promised to increase more for me.
I told her the CL I got from CIMB was based on my last year's salary, since this year I have adjustment on my salary I'll expect higher CL from Maybank.
Looks like she failed or she didn't try...

Added on April 26, 2011, 5:24 pmI told them I wanted a VISA, they gave me MasterCard. OK, quickly called to request but already out yesterday... They will resend the VISA to me. Fine.

Told them to send to my office, they sent to my house. They even called to my office to check on our address, yet they still sent to my house.

Hopefully no more mistake for my VISA...

I feel like giving Maybank a tight slap (maybe one slap is not enough).

Told them I wanted an AMEX+VISA but they gave me AMEX+MasterCard. As when I saw it appeared on my M2U, quickly called them to rectify. I was late according to the CS guy, cards were already sent out. He can only help me to apply for another VISA. Fine. Then, got to know those cards were sent to my house in hometown despite told them to deliver to my office. I even gave them my office address when the telemarketer contacted me. Told the CS I'm working in KL, there is no way I'll be at home to sign it. He told me, anybody can sign on my behalf because Poslaju captures the I.C. no., so he assured me nothing will happen. Ah ha, today the cards reached my house, parents were at home but Poslaju refused to allow them to sign on my behalf. I must be present to collect from the collection centre later, thank God I was back this evening due to long weekend and thank God again the post office is open tomorrow!

Parents called to inform me on the incident, called Maybank CS again. The CS apologised to me. I told him I called him not to listen to apologies but to double confirm where my VISA card will be sent to as I do not want it to end up to be sent to my hometown again because after this week's trip, I'll be back only a month later. He confirmed the address is to my office's address.

I really hope no more issue. I already had bad feeling when the CS told me these cards were sent to my hometown, I knew other people cannot sign on my behalf due to security purpose but the CS gave me assurance. Haiz.

For my future cards, I'll put in the application myself. I'll reject whatever future offers from those telemarketers. Not only they are slow in application but simple things like this makes my life go hoo-haa.

Oh ya, they put the CC's display name (not the name appears on my I.C.) as the receiver's name, I'm not sure if Poslaju will allow me to collect them tomorrow. As they have no way to verify it. Erm, unless I show them my other bank's CC which shows the same display name?

Finally collected my cards from the post office.

Only put in the AMEX into my wallet, MasterCard gonna keep aside until they send me the replacement VISA.

Wow, fast. I swiped my AMEX card yesterday's evening and it has been reflected on my statement already. The TP also got reflected.

But not sure when is my statement and due date. It still shows N/A.

Is there any way I can know my due date besides checking from M2U? Mine hasn't been updated yet. I'm a new user for Maybankard2GC.

Also, can I change the due date?

As long as I pay before due date, I won't be charged with interest right? Not statement date right? As far as I know both carry different meaning?

I just wanna make sure I won't be charged with interest.
I prefer my due date early of the month, I usually settle all my bills (CC, telephone bill, broadband bill and etc.) once my salary is out. If my bill is somewhere don't know when then need to remind myself again.

Checked with Maybank CS, my statement date is every month's 24th and due date is every month's 12th or 13th. Good, just as I wanted. Can pay everything one shot.

Yeah, saw my M2U has the replaced VISA already.
Now waiting for it to arrive, so I can destroy the MasterCard.

Yes, it was a miscommunication by the telemarketer. I told her I wanted an AMEX+VISA but in the end, they sent me an AMEX+MC which I wasn't really happy.
So I insisted Maybank to change it to VISA as promised early.
By default, it should be AMEX+MC but I asked if this could be changed, she said yes.
The reason why I wanted a VISA is because I'm already having a CIMB DA MC. I believe both are equally good.

You can try calling MBB CS, see if they have processed your cards. If no, it may be possible for you to change.

Oh you too? Mine didn't end there, asked them to send to my office but they sent to my billing address (my hometown).
Then, they still can ensure me anybody can sign on my behalf which later Poslaju didn't allow my parents to sign on my behalf. Luckily I was back in my hometown last Saturday...

I called MBB CS and I got all the information I required (i.e. statement date and due date). If you need this kind of info urgently, you may call them.

Stupid MBB CS makes mistake on my card delivery address again! Every time I call them I made them telling my card delivery address (to my office), though it was different CS but they got it correct all the time. Today I called and checked when is the ETA of my VISA, the CS told me will be sent out soon and to my shock it will be sent to my hometown's address!

I don't know how should I talk to them anymore, despite thousands of reminders. Haiz. I'm so tired.

I only started using credit card last year because just started working, earlier was on supplementary card.
They called and offered me, no documents required from me.
However, this kind of application takes very long time. I suggest you go to the nearest branch and apply from there.

Basically I didn't submit anything, everything via phone call.

I wish though.

As far as I know, it is preferable but not a must.
If your salary is banked in to Maybank every month, the chances of getting are higher, that's all.
In fact this was the last question raised by the telemarketer to me before we ended our conversation.
And my salary is banked in to Maybank all this while.
