why have to go to the outlets on saturdays to pay? cannot pay online on saturday? cannot get rebate/points?
Because there is no way to use Amex to pay TM bills online.Maybankard 2 Gold and Platinum Credit Cards, AMEX with Visa or MasterCard

If MBB really want to boost the revenue of Amex (we can see the intention from the launching of Maybankard 2), hopefully MBB can utilize its influence to help Amex offer even better merchant program than Visa/MC. I don't really understand how this merchant program works, but this is just my wish.
Should Amex continue to sacrifice revenue due to high merchant fee? I think this will require discussion in Amex (USA)? This post has been edited by chemistry: Mar 29 2011, 11:03 AM |

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Mar 29 2011, 11:18 AM) dont u guys think they should actually implement the rebate system such tat we r allowed to get rm600 of rebate a yr rather than capping it at rm50 a month. I think this is no good to the bank's cash flow.by allowing rm600 a yr of rebate, tat would encourage ppl to spend more rather than limiting to just getting rm50 a mth. Imagine 100,000 M2Amex cardmembers spend RM12,000 in first month, MBB will need to pay out RM60,000,000 in one shot |

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Mar 29 2011, 11:38 AM) well allowing rm600 rebate a yr doesnt mean they have to pay everything one shot. this is a good idea.wat i mean is we r not tied to spending due to the rebate policy but they can always pay the rebate rm50 monthly. but it sounds like cardmembers will need to remember how much rebate has been accumulated and credited. |

It was a follow up on my complaint regarding poor handling when opening M2U for cardmembers who don't have SA/CA with MBB. There was no outcome/conclusion after the conversation. It sounded like he just wanted to hear the voice of complainant. This post has been edited by chemistry: Mar 31 2011, 02:22 PM |

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Apr 7 2011, 02:08 PM) Hi, is MBB2 AMEX eligible for Express Autopay facility as attached (to enjoy the 5x TP): Yes, eligible. Will Maybank notify us when payment are made to the selected service providers, so that we know the bills are settled before due. Thanks No, you gotta check with your service providers. For example, TNB e-services, TM Online etc. If you "tunggak" TNB bills for 1 month or so, you'll receive red letter, so you won't miss payment The most licik one is Astro. Once late payment, straight away POTONG. Want reconnect? Pay the penalty fee first. |

QUOTE(cannavaro @ Apr 9 2011, 03:20 AM) It used to be full of empty spots even during public holidays but now that's no longer the case. Most (if not all) visitors are 1U fans already, they are very likely existing OneCard holders. If it's the first Saturday of the month or it's a public holiday or near a festive season, expect the One Card parking area to be full if you arrive at, say 3PM. There is another area designated for One Card holders, I'm not really sure where it is exactly but it's around the old wing. When everybody is preferred, there is no more preferred. |

QUOTE(simplesmile @ Apr 13 2011, 08:43 PM) How about this? Happened to me when I checked the statement this morning. did you check in on Friday then check out on Sunday?I swiped my card to pay hotel bill on 8th Apr. Checked my statement "Transaction date 10th Apr, Posting date 12th Apr". So... is it considered 8th or 10th? Cos 8th is Friday, 10th is Sunday. Maybe the hotel staff good to me, transact on Sunday, let me earn 5% rebate. QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Apr 13 2011, 09:35 PM) It will follow the transaction date. And hotel usually will only bill your credit card on the day you check-out. In the meantime, we must highlight this matter to American Express. I think Amex will follow up with the merchant. Print out the flyer and show it to them. Do not ever compromise !!! |
