QUOTE(beyond86 @ Apr 1 2011, 08:21 PM) hi guys, just give maybankard2 Amex to the branch to link my M2U. How about maybanrd2 Visa, need to give them to link?? In order to link, you must bring along your ATM card. Since you're linking MBB2 AMEX to your M2U, why don't MBB2 Visa at the same time?

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Apr 2 2011, 12:02 AM) Since this is the 1st time I'm getting a cash back, wat will happen to our rm50 we get every month for spending during the weekend ? Will it b deducted from total credit of our Amex cc or we get cash literally? It'll be credited to your AMEX bill.

Nothing special about the Visa.
It's just another backup CC if you already own an existing VISA.

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Apr 5 2011, 12:00 PM) if i'm not wrong, every year at year end, there's 15% cash back for amex promo for a few months. how about this? That one is not definite and certain. So far, it has been 2 years consecutively (2009 & 2010).

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Apr 5 2011, 12:04 PM) if say they were to do it this yr again, are we able to get anything from the 15% cash back? From previous campaign, you need to send SMS for registration. After, you have to spend at merchants at participating malls to get it. The cash back takes time to be processed and not as fast as the current 5% cash back which will be credited at the early of next month. Usually, one to two months after the month of swipe. From the other AMEX thread, some forumer did complain that they haven't receive cash back yet. Seems like the recently concluded campaign has some technical glitches.

QUOTE(den @ Apr 6 2011, 07:13 PM) is there any way i can pay the cukai to MPAJ using the maybankard 2 amex, without physically go to MPAJ counter? in maybank2u, for maybankard 2 amex, there is no payee in the list. payee list only available for maybankard 2 gold. =.= Most of the bill payment in M2U only accept Visa/Master as payment type using CC. Sorry to disappoint you.

QUOTE(uhlaw @ Apr 7 2011, 10:58 PM) MSOS is not working now? Website seems down.. There is one thing that I wish to know. If we use amex card, we entitle for maybank treatpoint or amex reward points? Or both? For MBB2 AMEX, it's TP and not MR.

QUOTE(uhlaw @ Apr 7 2011, 11:07 PM) Thanks for fast reply bro 5x Treatpoint for both visa and amex quite attractive 5x TP is only applicable to AMEX; not Visa. Visa is only entitled for 1x TP.

Those post offices I went didn't display such logo and therefore, I believe they don't accept cards. Only selected I believe or those in KL.

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Apr 11 2011, 08:22 PM) Speaking of MBB2 AMEX, have you applied for a new one ? I mean the new one with Platinum word on the top right of the card I think somebody mentioned it before that MBB is willingly to replace you for free with the one with the word "Platinum".

QUOTE(ronnie @ Apr 11 2011, 11:37 PM) If we request a newer Maybankard2 AMEX (with Platinum wordings), the CC number will change ? By right, shouldn't since it'll be treated as a replacement card.

QUOTE(ronnie @ Apr 11 2011, 11:41 PM) Direct Access's replacement cards always a new number... The MBB Visa Petronas replacement card that I requested two to three months ago also carries the same CC number. Unless they upgrade your card to the next level/category. I don't see why the CC number has to be changed. This post has been edited by David83: Apr 11 2011, 11:45 PM
