I just applied UOB Visa Infinite yesterday. They are now giving 6x complimentary entry to airport lounges a year (Priority pass), but it's still better than my citibank PM which is 2x only. (Dear admin please update this info)

Could it be that the UOB Privilege Banking Visa Infinite grants unlimited entries to PP lounges, whereas the Non Privilege Banking Visa Infinite grants 6 times entries? Even the design of the two cards are totally different.

yeah, maybe our moderator can change the 1st page info to UOB P Banking Visa Infinite as there is a new UOB VI card coming out since June

Yes, but I think the UOB Privilege Banking VI is also new and launched at or around the same time as the non-PB VI.

i also just signed the application form, dont know if i can get the priority pass card in time. I am going for holiday on 21.12.12, any idea they can get me the card so fast?

after reading GenX blogs recently, i am crazy collecting cards now, just got SC 3 cards, OCBC titanium, MAybankard 2 cards....and still looking for more.....

According to Priority Pass, the Plaza Premium Lounge at Penang International Airport, Domestic Departure Terminal will start accepting Priority Pass members effective 20 December 2012.

Depends on what cards you have. Amex Supplementary Platinum Charge Card members and Supplementary Platinum Credit Card members get complimentary access too.

Again depends on what cards you have. Most cards only grant the cardholders complimentary access and guests will be charged. Unless you are visiting a Malaysian lounge and you present other cards with lounge access too. Citibank Priority Pass allows guest though but the guest's visit takes up the yearly quota.

How about if i have 2 cards under my name have access to KLIA loun ge - Aeon card and Alliance plat... any idea if i can use one of it for my guest?

You should have no problem with that. I've done that many times in Malaysia. Singapore lounges do not allow that though.

Your other PP card is from Maybank VI?

That means now we have 4 unlimited access PP cards in Malaysia, ie, SCB VI, UOB PB VI, MBB WMC and Alliance Bank VI.

wow u guys are rich.. annual income > 240k

Honestly, my annual income do not fullfiled the requirement of the said card, I got that card before BNM implemented the rules.

Recently I applied for the MBB VI and was just approved. Currently awaiting the arrival of the card. My annual income does not fulfill the RM240k requirement too.

the possible causes that i can think of would be:
- PB customer
- Income near to 240k
- invitation
- a lot of banking accounts in maybank
