Posting it here - well if the reader is smart and have the initiative to read all the posts here, especially when this thread goes to like page 88, he shall be rewarded with this info smile.gif unlike my blog, he search for LCCT and automatically only 3 or more posts will show up.

QUOTE(erry- @ May 19 2011, 05:44 AM)

Added on May 19, 2011, 5:50 amoh btw - updates: confirmed with PPL staff @ LCCT - Alliance user can access for 2 hours only per day!

i just went there yesterday morning around 6am.
enter by using alliance debit plat mastercard.
*
All bank cards only grant us 2 hours access to PPL according to the person manning the counter at LCCT.
Anyway, you mentioned in your post May 19 that the quota for Alliance Plat Debit card not yet reach 35, as of this week (4th week of the month), the Alliance Plat quota habis. But the quota for Alliance Premier Debit still available.

I entered with my EON Bank VS, save a place for other Alliance Premier Debit cardholders smile.gif

Somebody here tried this before and it worked. You may try. Normally the officers at counter will check your bording pass and note down the credit card numbers.
*
Yes, they do write down the numbers and sometimes the person manning the counter will ask to see boarding pass. It depends on who is manning the counter I suppose.

It is such a waste to use the 2x complimentary pass at LCCT Plaza Premium Lounge. The LCCT lounge is very outdated and "low cost" type. It doesn't provide full range of services like what KLIA and Changi Plaza Premium Lounges provide.
*
True, but not everyone flies international. And the chairs are more comfortable and it peaceful and I like it that way.

Just tried SCB VI (without showing the priority pass) at KLIA Plaza Premium & guess what? They do not regconise the SCB VI & said it is not entitled.
*
thanks for sharing, I guess the ultimate airport card in malaysia can't get in by itself.

ben83, don't you have MBB WMC? Why go PPL?

Gen X how soon your wife got your priority pass membership card upon receiving premier miles?
*
well, she had to fill in the Priority Pass form that came inside the welcome kit and I think she got the card less than 2 weeks after I mailed the application form.

Citibank Premier Miles able to enter LCCT Lounge. Tried on May 18th.
*
You didn't have to show them your Priority Pass Membership Card? PremierMiles card entitled to 2 free passes and this include LCCT terminal.

*
KLIA PPL yes, but no where it is stated that can get 12 times to LCCT PPL.

From what I was told, Premier Miles comes with 12 free access(2 hours) to PPL at KLIA and LCCT per year. The Priority Pass can be used in Overseas Lounge for two free access. There will be a charge of RM90(5 hours) for using Priority Pass at PPL Malaysia.
*
That is indeed good smile.gif End of this month I 'll be at LCCT, I will reconfirm and report here.

I was at LCCT today and it was reconfirm what MGM said about 12 free access a year with Citibank PremierMiles. This is indeed very good compared to CIMB VS and the useless HSBC VS (as far as access to PPL is concerned)

Anyway, for info, Alliance Plat Debit, EON Bank Plat and UOB Plat quota habis. Alliance Premier only had less than 8 people entering LCCT PPL this month so far and the quota is 20 per month.

1. The Priority Pass that comes with PremierMiles card, any membership fee?

2. If my card is approved on August 2011, means I will have 2 free visits in 2011, and come 2012, I get another 2 free visits as long as I maintain the card?
3. Sounds contradictory. But perhap it means to bring a guest, the principal cardholder must be present?
*
1. No
2. good question, I also want to know.
3. Yes, principal got to be present.

After all, UOB Privilege Banking Platinum - UNLIMITED access to Plaza Premium Lounge KLIA, LCCT & Senai
is the best card for airport lounge
*
UOB says unlimited for PB cards but if you read the fine prints, it says once a month. BUT I would say UOB PB card the best card to get free coffee at Orchard Road Singapore at their PB hall tongue.gif

Best card right now today is EON Bank Visa Signature, unlimited entry to PPL including Changi smile.gif

I thought the best credit card for free lounge access is Standard Chartered Visa Infinite card? This is the only card in Malaysia that comes with free Priority Pass Card. The Priority Pass Card allows unlimited free access to all priority pass lounges worldwide, not just in Asia Pacific. As many times each month/year as you want and you are not limited to just Plaza Premium Lounge in KLIA or Changi or wherever.

EON bank Visa Signature or UOB card don't have this, isn't it?
*
yah, the best SCB Infinite, but I dont have, SCB FD rates damn low sad.gif

EON Bank VS and Citibank PremierMiles also comes with Priority Pass but limited to 3 and 2 free passes respectively.

Not necessarily FD, other investment related also considered.

I believe loan at certain amount also qualifies PB.
*
yes, I also heard that need certain loan amount to be eligible for the VI but they may not necessary waive the annul fee unlike if you got FD wink.gif

Is it confirmed EON bank Visa Signature no longer provides free access to KLIA plaza premium lounge from 1st August onwards? Something to do with the takeover by Hong Leong bank? Also affects other EON bank cards like the GSC card?
*
Who told you? No such thing so far.

Was told by an EON bank visa signature card holder. Apparently EON bank customers and staff were not told in advance. Can any EON bank visa signature card holders confirm this at KLIA?

Well, I will know next week when I go to LCCT and report here.

I have a question here for citibank PM card which allow you to apply for priority pass. Do we have any annual fee charges for the Priority Pass membership? I read from the web, the standard priority pass will charge u USD99 per year. For priority pass that get from PM, we need to pay any when it is over 1 year?
*
Nope, it is free as long as you have Citibank PM. The question to ask is, will you get the second year annual fee of RM600 waived by Citibank.

Hi. Complimentary access to plaza premium lounge means that I can eat and get massage for free inside?

Kris Flyer Amex cost only RM125 pa. I travel every month, plan to get one. Seems worth it
*
For free access with credit card, you can eat and drink all you want within the 2 hours time limit. As for massage, it's mechanical tongue.gif
