CIMB/DA VI might have already changed the complimentary airport lounge access. I obtained my DA VI last September and I was given 2 MAS Golden Lounge vouchers (1x for MAS Golden Lounge in Malaysia and another 1x for MAS Golden Lounge in overseas).

just called LCCT PPL to double confirm

they have CONFIRMED that Citibank VISA Platinum card (normal one, not the premier miles) CAN access the LCCT PPL, including sub card, beginning this month

Actually it started on early August

BUT, yesterday I went to KLIA plaza lounge, I ask the staff there about Citibank platinum card holder got limit like 12 times per year to access the lounge, but she answered me NO LIMIT....

Citibank plat card can virtually access any lounge even at the Dubai airport.

From the first post when Amex plat credit card, does it apply to the Maybank2 Amex card?

Maybank2 Amex Plat card can't access to any lounge, this card only good in cash rebate and points earning.

Not the much more posh airline lounge though. Just the privately operated or third party lounge.

Can you explain further on this? I can't remember seeing this as a feature in Citibank Plat cc. Thus far I only know it allow access to KLIA PPL & lately there are reports on successfully accessing LCCT PPL too.

If you referred to unlimited free access to Plaza Premium Lounge at Changi Airport, you can use HLB VS. It is actually the former EON Bank VS.


The Marhaba Lounge in Dubai Airport is different. It even accepted my SCB JustOne Titanium MC, as long as the card is Titanium MC level and above. I have tried this twice.

nah it wasn't me entering it. but i do remember hearing that local malaysian plat cards are barred from entry.

Now even TheStorePacific-HLB credit cardholder also can access to LCCT/KLIA PPL, even Changi also can!

This is not a new feature. It is the former EON Bank card, which have already given this benefit long ago.

Do not expect HLB so "generous".

If HLB wants to be stingy, they can remove the PPL access anytime.

I am just wondering how thy trace me for 2 hours free. I am using Citibank platinum card and they just record my number and flight number... Then when I left I ask for sign out but thy said no need. Are thy goin to charge me? Because I stay thr more than 2 hours...
