Dear All,
Not sure if this is the right forum but i'm having some problems right now.
I am currently using windows Mail (WIndows Vista) for my office email. However, my laptop crashed on me and now i wish to migrate to my new Macbook Pro. I have Microsoft office 2010 installed in my macbook pro and it seems like Outlook is the only Windows mail program that i can use.
Can anyone teach me how do i migrate?
Kindly take note that my laptop has chrashed but i managed to take out my hdd and plugged it into an external casing. Right now, my email files are still intach with the respective folders but its in 'eml' format.
Can anyone teach me please?
Thanks HL

you can try this software call Little Machines, but you need to purchase the app. Or you can convert all the email into mbox file, then import into your MBP Mail. There also another way, just use google to find out more, you know the drill.

First are you using Outlook or Entourage in your PC? Have you try "Import" feature in the Office for Mac 2011?

Getting Started

|
Not sure whether this will work. If you have Outlook for windows (download the trial) , import the mail from your existing client. Once complete, copy pst over to mac to be imported.

Use Mac EML to MBOX Converter software which can easily convert EML file into MBOX format without losing any data and convert single as well as multiple EML files at a one time. It also converts EML file into Mozilla Thunderbird, and Apple email and uses EML to MBOX file format. For more information: https://www.toolscrunch.com/mac-eml-to-mbox-converter.html
