I plan to get an iPad, went to KLCC but they said out of stock for iPad 16GB + Wifi.

Should I buy it online ? It safe ? Or should I go around lowyat maybe to get a cheaper iPad ?

I've bought many stuffs from Apple Online store and I haven't got any problem with any of them.

If you don't mind waiting a few days, you can buy it from Apple Online Store.

Since it ships from China (Chengdu) via DHL, it takes only a few days. I ordered mine on the 11th, and it arrived today morning.

ya...16gb wifi and wifi +3g out of stock.
i went to the sunway piramid store last saturday and the staff told me that some one actually bought about 50 ++ units 16gb wifi, wifi + 3g model tat day.

no choice and bought the 32gb one

i have called all the machines outlet, no stock already for both 16 n 32 gb wifi version, 16gb wifi+3g oso sold out. so i book online, but will they online store out of stock too?

If you've your contact number in the delivery note, yes, they'll contact you but it is all depend on the delivery man. The last shipment DHL did to me, they called me when I wasn't at home .. but then again, the guy said that he as much as possible wanted to deliver all his stuff during his round, so, he'll call up when you're not home.

Added on March 16, 2011, 7:07 amShouldn't need to worry about it .. if it is missing/tampered with .. you can just call up Apple and they'll help you out. The delivery is tracked, so you'll know where it is.. and if it is delivered, you will know it too.. DHL won't leave you package without someone signing it.

can, but depends on your credit card bank also.
once u purchased via online store, then call your c.card service centre, tell them u wish to pay by installment, and they will do it for u.
of course they are charging 5% to 10%.

You can buy it from their offical store.

go buy online, i just ordered 32GB wifi version last night and this morning the status is shipped with the tracking code.
they use DHL express.

for the time being all stores only sell 64GB version, if you're willing to pay premium price, then you can find it in low yat.

of course they wouldn't sell at apple price.

safe to buy through apple store(courier) or you place an order at any apple dealer.. put rm150,and wait for 1 week.. they will order those ipad from apple store in SG.. but for ipad 16gb wifi only,i think apple sg/my out of stock already.. if im not mistaken.. can see their online store for update

Yesterday machines klcc still has stock for 16gb wifi 3G . This morning I checked apple store 16b and 32gb wifi are out of stock, luckily I managed to buy 32gb wifi just 1 day before.
I received it this afternoon .
