it is not a trap. there are not many cards that let you waive the first year but plenty will let you offset subsequent years with 10k points. OCBC is just mimicking that.

QUOTE(CanieAnne @ Nov 30 2011, 02:02 PM) That's the way to protect cardholders and even their own. Please see my post on the main credit card thread for some legal contacts for you to get legal advice. Anything further from these threads would just be heresay and does not help you. I just read abt the RM250 max liability last Sun but u know this tricky bank is so nasty from the start, i need to find the right channel to fight back. Really need help in this area. Just wish no1 else become a victim like me because wanted the 5% rebate in the 1st place Important: Get Legal Advice |

Don't forget to mention that 3 times was in the same station (I am guessing within the a very close period of time of within a few mins).
This highlights a gap or flaw in OCBC's fraud detection (or lack of). |

SSL cert looks OK but may mean the OCBC servers may have been compromised and not just diverted. Best to refrain from logging in. Can't even call in

QUOTE(ck23 @ Dec 23 2011, 07:50 PM) Anyone claimed the RM50 GST waiver before? it's auto. you will see an annual usage bonus if you hit RM10k spending by the time they charge the GSTSpend 10k and above can claim. It's just like MBB2 Mastercard. 1x Treat Point. Reach 10k can claim RM50. But.. how can the claim be done? Call them? |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 10 2012, 11:59 PM) Oh cool. Now this is good. if you got the letter in black and white you can attach it as part of the documentsI think I just regretted. Anyway, I will tell the personnel when he/she calls. The reason is I'll get a higher increment in April or May, still unsure which month yet but definitely there is one. My boss hasn't concluded yet as I'll be converted to permanent employee soon. My new salary will be more than Let's see when the person calls. |

QUOTE(gerrardling @ Apr 19 2012, 05:35 PM) but if your share your expenses with gf or bf, it cost you RM27 per person for GOLD CLASS which has better environment and most important is comfortable Sofa chair OOT but in my experience, watching movie activity is not a shareable expense between a gf and bf. (maybe during prospective stage but not after) |
