1) You have to disable mad2sd first and install the latest cm v.1.2 first.
2) Or if you don't want the CM latest version, disable mad2sd.
3) Tickable boxes - Applications, Private Apps, Dalvik cache and Download Cache. Only the Application Data is greyed out.

Possibilities :

1) Check your usb cable/usb port of your pc. Try using another pc.
2) Did you update to the latest CWM v.0.5 ?
3) Did you install in sequence, CM v1.2 and then Google Apps?
4) Your sdcard may be corrupted due to previous apps' residue (left behind)

Solution :

1) Data wipe.
2) If the data wipe cannot resolve your issue, then most probably it's your sdcard's corruption.
3) Data wipe with CWM.
4) Re-partition your sdcard also with CWM.
5) Re-install CM rom v.1.2 and then Google Apps.

Most probably it's the compatibility issue with Go SMS Pro and Cyanogen.

Possibilities :-
1- my usb port seems ok.. try to use pen drive at the same port... can use..
2- yups..
3- yups..
4- No idea blush.gif

Solution:

Done data wipe.. yesss.. now can detect and connect to my pc.. I realized that the problem only occur when i restore my data using CWM... Perhaps the way i restore is incorrect??? How did i restore??
- reboot recovery
- backup n restore
- restore
- pick the date of last backup..
- restore
- reboot

p/s I've never tried Advance Restore..

1) Your backup which you are restoring now - is it cm v.1.1 and/or plus hotfix? If so, this is the problem because the latest v.1.2 does not use mad2sd script.
2) And mad2sd is being enabled when you restored back.
3) So now you'll have to do everything again, ie. same as you are upgrading from v.1.1 to current version 1.2. Remember, don't perform restore.
4) The procedure which you did restoring is right.
5) Advance Restore is restoring selective data, like you only want to to restore ext4 partition, for example.

I think u're right... My last back-up is on V.1.1 + HF2..

So.. How i'm going to get back my last backup without performing restore? I'm currently on 1.2 version.. Are these the correct steps?:

- flash back to 1.1 (without flashing hotfix)
- restore my last back-up files
- follow the steps 2) - 5)

On part c) If so, go to > settings > applications > manage applications -------> move your apps (one by one) to SD card. (you'll need to move back to the phone later on).

If to move back from sdcard to phone, need to do it one by one?

1) Your backup files are located in the ClockWorkMod Folder in your SDcard. You don't need to reflash back to 1.1 and then backup.

2) If you are currently using 1.2 and is satisfied with it, then I think you probably won't need the previous backup. What you can do now is copy the previous backup file to your pc. That is if you want to keep it. Then backup your current v1.2.

3) If you are talking about restoring back your previous settings, contacts, sms, etc., then you restore your previous back up which is 1.1
4) And perform the steps 2) - 5)

Note : What happens to when you perform the above steps 3) & 4) is that :

1) Your previous 1.1 version + settings + contacts + sms + data + etc., all all restored, except your FAT32 partition which you have your personal stuffs.
2) And when you upgrade to v.1.2 , only the rom is changed.

Yes.. I'm talking about restoring back my previous setting especially my download applications... Because currently with 1.2, my downloaded aplications are all gone coz i've wiped data.. TQ alex.. I'll try to restart back the procedures.. Just confusing on part c) If so, go to > settings > applications > manage applications -------> move your apps (one by one) to SD card. (you'll need to move back to the phone later on) <--- this one means i need to move back to the phone one by one also???

1) Actually you don't need to do data wipe when you upgrade from v.1.1 to v.1.2.
2) Yes you can either move back one by one or use titanium backup. But sometimes titanium messes with certain apps and may caused file/apps corruption.

I'm currently using Go Launcher Ex -v2.52.. Yes.. your home screen will not rotate even though you have enable Auto-rotate screen.. But it just for android setting.. You need to enable Screen Rotation through Go Launcher Ex also..
Go to preference/operation settings/tick the box "Screen Rotation".. Then ur home screen will rotate... rclxms.gif
