Hey guys, i just flash it to Latest cynogen.
Currently I have 3 question:
1. how to turn on clockmod? I use odin to flash the .tar file to get into it, is that correct?
2. After i turn on the phone, it automatically goes 3g and sync my data, RM60 prepaid credit gone within 10 minitues, did any of u guys experience that problem ?
3. My internal memory is 183mb. I already format the EXT4 partition before. how to make it merge with phone memory? do i need to remove previous data on EXT4 partition?
thank you for your patience!
BTW, cynogen 7.1 run very smooth. the only thing i encounter is Radio is not functioning.
1. If you formerly was not using CyanogenMod v.7.0 and above, you probably did not have ClockWorkMod installed.
b) Therefore, you use ODIN to flash the CWM .tar file to install to you phone. This is only done once.
c) To enable CWM, you Press > OFF Button > Reboot > Recovery --------> your phone will reboot into CWM mode.
3. Everytime when you flash or upgrade a new rom, your phone will start with a start-up menu.
b) By default, the setting, > Data enabled < is ENABLED!
c) This is why, your phone will consume your data credits.
d) Therefore, it is advisable to remove your SIM card when flashing to a new rom, unless you have a packaged data contract with your line service provider.
4) You have to enable mad2sd by either using ADB with your pc, or by using your phone's Terminal Emulator using the following procedure :
a) Type " su " (without the quotes) and allow super user permission.
b) Type " mad2sd on " (without the quotes) and reboot.
c) Once you have done these two steps, your apps will be automatically installed in your sdcard's Ext4 partition.
d) To check your mad2sd status, type " mad2sd " and you'll see if mad2sd is enable on your phone or not.
e) It is not necessary to remove your previous data on Ext4.
NOTE :
1. For CyanogenMod v.7.0 and above, when upgrading new versions, and hotfixes, data wipe is not necessary unless it's stated in the changelogs of the new release.
2. It is advisable to perform backup with CWM in case there is anything wrong. Backing up with CWM will back up virtually everthing, your rom, data, settings, sms, contacts, personalizations like your launchers, wallpapers..etc. With a few clicks of your phone, you can restore back everything EXACTLY the same as when you backed up.
ENJOY!

i want to ask.. if use go launcher, it stable or not.
how to unfunction adw launcher. i afraid it clash each other
1) Go Launcher is okay.
2) If you want fast, simple launcher, ZEAM or Nemus Launcher are great. They use low memory and have easy user friendly management.
3) If you like more functions, personalization, Go Launcher EX is good. But it uses a lot of memory and may slow down performance.
4) If you are saying disabling the adw launcher, go to > settings > applications > manage applications > ----> Select ADW Launcher > Clear defaults.
a) If uninstalling, Select > Uninstall. BUT BE CAREFUL! MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ANOTHER LAUNCHER INSTALLED OR ELSE YOU'LL FIND THAT YOU WON'T HAVE ANY LAUNCHER! AND YOU'LL THEN NEED TO USE ADB TO INSTALL ONE.
b) With a few launchers installed will NOT interfere with the performance of you phone. It's perfectly alright. (I myself have 4 launchers and I use them alternately!)
