Or you can install QuickBoot from the market and there is an option to reboot to recovery.

What is the best cyanogen parameter for v0.9? is it still Min CPU 245, Max CPU 729 and Governors is ONDEMAND? I try this setting in v0.8, when play the AngryBird it seen very smooth, but in v0.9 is seen a little bit lag.

1) after pressing the off button, you should see the > reboot > recovery options. if you don't, that means CWM is not install yet on your phone.

2) don't install full package > i mean the google apps from http://android.modaco.com/topic/335141-add...pps-2011-07-12/
but you can install the full package from Madteam's > Google Apps (20110613).

3) did you partitioned your sdcard with EXT4 (primary)? if not the rom will not work.

4) did you do data wipe/factory reset in CWM mode (during flashing CWM with odin)?

You can increase your min CPU to a higher setting.

update to the latest minitool partition wizard... ext4 is supported in the latest version... or

flash back to motafoca's v.2.0.9 final, then use the installed app2sd to partition. then do data wipe/factory reset and redo the flashing of CWM with odin, do data wipe/factory reset again in CWM mode, and install cyanogen rom (the three files in your sdcard) with CWM (install from zip). lastly, reboot. Done.

I don't use swap partition (and have no swap partition). Formerly I used it (swap partition) and it caused some problems in my phone, so now I've deleted it and my phone works fine with MadTeam's roms.

My opinion is just partition only to EXT4 and MUST be PRIMARY, NOT FAT32, as it'll not work in android os.

If you need a lot of apps and games, you can partition your EXT4 to a bigger size as most apps and games are stored in there.

My sdcard is 8GB , my EXT4 size is 1.3GB.

Yes, both primary.

The size of EXT4 is up to your preference. Let's say you partition EXT4 size 500MB, so you have something of about 1.4 ++ GB for your personal stuffs like your pictures, videos, songs, etc...

1) don't use link2sd.

2) use mad2sd > you need to enable it with these steps :

i) use your phone's terminal emulator to type " su " and allow it.

ii) then type " mad2sd on " and reboot.

mad2sd will then be enabled and the apps and games will be automatically store in the ext4.

Method 1 :

1) Backup your sdcard first - copy your personal stuffs to a folder in your phone (if you don't need them, then you don't need to backup). Don't worry about the ext4 first.

2) Format your sdcard with your computer.

3) Use mini tool partition wizard to partition your ext4 primary. The remaining sector leave it as FAT32.

4) Then format your sdcard again with your computer.

Partition Done.

Method 2 :

1) Flash to Motafoca's version 2.0.9

2) Partition your sdcard with the built in MadTeam's App2sd and follow your phone's instructions.

3) Do data wipe/factory reset.

Partition Done.

had the same problem a couple of weeks back and followed option b as alex suggested then. It worked! so if option a doesn't work b will definitely work. rclxms.gif

only issue is, you got to flash back to Malaysia official rom if you want to keep the baseband doh.gif

there is no one best baseband. just a matter of whether the particular baseband suits your phone. i'm using JP6 and it is working great for me.

you can get basebands here : http://www.madteam.co/forum/development/basebands/
