That free space seems about right after allocating 700mb for swap and apps.
Unfortunately, you have formatted your sd card so yes, your data is gone.
If you have some really important files on there, they may still be accessible via recovery software

Ic.. I though i've followed the right steps... hahahaha

Before flashing i've backup all my files using titanium backup and backup all application.. But how to restore if my sdcard is blank? hahaha... My mistake coz don't understand the effect of app2sd.. My mistake also not to copy all my files in Sdcard to my pc... I'm lucky coz my contact still can be access through sync. juz get the no. from my gmail... hurmmmmm... need to start back from A..

last night download opera 11, totally make my eclair internal storage is full..then i make ext2 on my sd card.. 2gb... my folder and all stuff on 5+GB..
i used link2sd..and it solve my problem... i think no need to be on froyo when it not have multi touch....

please froyo with multi touch but stable like eclair...

Im Samsung Galaxy 5 user, Still on eclair with many benifit... smile.gif just my 2 sense...

thanks for the tips for link2sd... love lowyat forum...

Im using Motafoca 2.1.0 now.. all seem ok except font and notification icon look suck. keyboard does vibrate when typing.. and the appbrain fast web installer working now. feel good.
~ GPS so fast.. dont need to wait. even first time run.

Installing PAPAGO X5
PAPAGO download link : http://www.sendspace.com/file/ge2rso (download to ur pc then extract all the file at any folder)
Make sure you are connected to your pc via cable.
1. Copy the extracted PAPAGO_X5SEA_0806_WWEMarket.apk to your sdcard (You can copy in any folder in ur sdcard or just open new folder inside ur sdcard)
2. Create new folder name NaviSEA in your sd card
3. Copy whole navisea files in ur pc into the NaviSEA Folder in ur sdcard
4. Discharge your connection from your pc and install papago (Just go to My files and the folder you’ve copy the PAPAGO_X5SEA_0806_WWEMarket.apk files)
5. Once installed, try to open PAPAGO.. The default language is Chinese so go to setting (find setting icon) and select the 2nd row to choose language. To enhance your PAPAGO performance please follow the guide on enhancing GPS on 1st page

It is advisable to install GPS test to check ur GPS status before opening papago.. Papago will only be used after ur phone has detect the GPS signal..

I advise to leave papago and use ndrive.
papago app size is like 300 mb - ndrive only 50 mb
papago maps (for thailand) is 1200 mb - ndrive only 300
besides ndrive has all POI's and papago nearly none and ndrive has a more friendly user interface imho

n drive map are outdated in malaysia....poi are only updated in big town ....outside kl the map are totally outdated...u may lost

btw, how do i install Pokemon GBA games in these phone?

about antivirus...i didnt use any...hoho
for GBA u can use gameboid..i use it to play pokemon emerald....
it run great...no lagging..even u can up its framerate to make it emulate faster...
