Hey guys, if we were using the MAD Team App2SD to flash to the 2.2, what are the recommended partition value would you guys recommend for a 4GB SD card?
*
1) FAT32 2) EXT2 or EXT3 or EXT4 = not more than 2GB (I used 8GB sdcard and partitioned this as 988 MB) 3) Linux Swap = not more that 200MB (mine is 110MB) all must be PRIMARY.

So I think your 2nd partition should also be about 988MB also because this rom doesn't use the internal memory of the phone. Instead it used this 2nd partition as internal memory and I got ++800MB as internal memory.

If you follow the instructions correctly, it would not be a problem with the MadTeam's latest 2.2. It's awesome! Everything works fine and have ++800 MB internal memory with auto Data2SD - apps are automatically store in the sd card..
*
i follow it and i use MAD Team App2SD to partition since i no have card reader tongue.gif
and i get 700++ MB but my sd card cant readed? blink.gif

[RELEASE] MAD ROM 2.2.1

QUOTING DASHBLACK

Okay, so I noticed the SYSTEM gets laggy since it has to access SD card to read all its data. But what of it's data was moved onto internal? Thats exactly what it did, and the results: faster boot, less laggy, smooth browsing through phone, it doesnt even lag when installing upto 5 apps at a time! I tested!

Changes:
1. Re-odexed rom
2. Removed Google Apps to fit in .odex's
3. Speed improvements
4. Stability improvements
5. Data2SD script improvements
5. Boot.img cleanup(FAIL)
6. Added motafoca's CSC so phone reboots into recovery automatically after flashing smile.gif

LOL THIS LOOKS PROMISSING. drool.gif

then check back with kies .... have to do emergency firmware recovery .... it took less then 5 minute ...

it should at least put some notice if it stuck (kies).

then need to do reset (via code @ first page) as i got the com.phone something error every 30 second ....

after that all is good smile.gif
