If I want to have similar design like this: 1. Can I just show this picture to my contractor and he will be able to do EXACTLY the same? Or, 2. Should I buy all the materials and items (tiles, wc, mirror, basin, shower head etc) first, and only ask them to install? 3. If I were to do #2, where can I get say, similar tiles? Can I just walk into any tiles shop and ask them? What is the chance of them having the same tile & color? Thanks!

The best is to buy everything den let them install but if u wan to save the headache then get them to do everything but will cost u may b 20% more. That is just a normal design, u can actually do a better 1 like ryan's 1. http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1761806&hl=

You can get quotations from several contractors by showing them the pic and your bath. Then ask them for quotes on with and without material. If you opt to buy the material yourself, then better get all your materials ready before they start work.

Is your contractors are just masons? if yes, you will have to buy the materials and show them this pic, and personal supervisions. if you are dealing with ID, then you can just show the designer on this pic will do.

Standard material only.. shouldn't be any problem to get the exact tiles.
Show the pic to ur contractor, let them be as your qs. Get the required item quantity, then purchase it by yourself. They just charge labor only then.
