Went to see Tropicana Cheras. No where compared to TP. No one is struggling to move out of TP and it's not known for robberies and traffic jams. TP is most definitely one of the best places to live, to raise kids, to grow old and to enjoy and relax like in a resort.

Once our whole family went out without closing the gate. The guard called me to let me know but we couldn't come home until about 1 pm. We were out since 8 am. Our very efficient guard promised to keep an eye on our house without me asking him to do so. When we came home, everything was as how it was including my folding bike which wasn't even locked. This is how wonderful TP is.

I really hope there'll be no more lies about TP.

Oh yes. Memories of the excitement we felt when we got the keys and the whole process but it was definitely a lot of work. We were very hands-on but the end result is that every decision becomes personal. Every time we look at something in the home, there's a story or an experience attached to it. A sweet memory that money cannot buy.

I've noticed more and more cars coming to our roundabout to get to the toll to use the Silk Highway. Previously, many TP haters used to use the excuse of the toll as a negative comment about TP but now, it is evident that even those who are not staying in TP would rather come here to pay toll than to be caught in the jam! Ironic, isn't it?

Where's the access road to Sunville?

Neighbor's dogs poo in your yard, neighborhood gossip comes over whenever something is happening in your home, kids play badminton, soccer, bicycle, fireworks in your yard, neighbor's cars park right in front of your home, neighbor's cats poo in your yard, neighbor's unkempt weeds grow into your pristine zen-inspired garden, etc. scary!

I agree with hysteresis. The community indeed need to work together, watch out for one another and inform the guards if they see any suspicious dudes around. The problem is not everyone is like that. Some residents only care about themselves and don't inform their neighbors about anything. One would think that living at a higher end enclave, the people would be more civic minded but that's not always true.

It's a matter of personal preference. To me, the drive home to TP is so beautiful and serene. Love the hills and the mist. Took a drive to JH once and it was not pleasant at all, having to go through industrial areas, etc. Gateless is also a no no for us. Heard too many unpleasant experiences from those who've stayed in gateless homes.

No problem. Just find it strange that you kutuk TP so much and yet you can't leave TP alone. Why hover around the TP forum if you don't like it? Pelik right? Btw, it's very rude to kutuk other people's home. Ask any TP resident and they'll tell you how much they love it here. Thank you twins9 and madmoz and naleh33. The thing that I most don't understand is why TP haters even bother to hover around the TP forum. It only goes to show that there's something here that that greatly interests them. Anyway, I never had any intention of making anyone feel small just because I'm living here and they're not. There are many more prestigious addresses around. It's just that TP is our home. It's not perfect but what is? JH is loved by many as well but that is their preference so why don't they hover over there? I've never gone to their thread before because I'm simply not interested. As I've said before, it's a matter of personal preference. There is actually no wrong or right to this. The thing I'm happy about is that we TP residents are united!
