My 1st choice for phone while upgrading is E7, but somehow I bought N8 instead, cheaper with more battery. It is holistically different:

mine still very new, too many functions not enough time to learn, at the end of the day simply use the usual function and play with the camera (nothing worthy to put up here yet)

yes I use email a lot on the phone thats why I waiting for PR 1.2 eagerly.
Its also a nuisance to rotate to type replies and thats my 2nd wish a good qwerty portrait keyboard. Coming PR 2.0 My other wish is for Ovi suite to be made lighter. I'm happy with Opera so no worries on web browsing. Extremely happy with the camera. |

It seems that the PR 2.0 is pushed to summer (July):
http://mynokiablog.com/2011/04/06/update-s...e-for-symbian3/ Anyway to those who receive or hack the phones to get the PR 1.2 what is the improvement on email? any alternative potrait QWERTY? I try installing swype but I dont get the potrait QWERTY although I can use swype using the landscape keyboard. Speedwise is the same, although sms to boss can be faster (proper english) but to friends (manglish) still as slow as ever. I come from win6.1/6.5 where there is always many alternatives for nearly everything for the phone. Any site like XDA dev for symbian? |
