Hi my N8 friends

I'm planning to get an orange N8 this month and join the club, but I've not much experience about phone stuff
May I know is Nokia N8 good to buy right now? I mean, they have newer firmware and is the "DEAD" of Nokia N8 already solved? Cos I read here in the previous thread said that it has sudden death

By the way, I've read the first page of V27, there's a lot of things, those are something like "jailbreak" or....?

1. How to know that the phone is actually not the older batch that you mentioned? I wanted to get newer batch in order to avoid the risk of dead N8.

2. Actually I'm a user of Nokia N8 for more than 3 years, camera is my highest priority in buying a phone, that's why I need a N8, is there any better camera phone than N8?

3. for your mods and signed certificate statement, it's just another name of "jailbreak" like IP4 ya?

4. Between Original and AP, is there any different in term of the phone's quality and parts ( I mean, inside the phone itself like the LCD and etc ) or just the warranty coverage is different? Which one is better price?

5. Orange color is now available for local distributor right? I tot last time what I heard, only black, silver and green are available. Wanted the orange one badly, cos I saw in picture, the color is very bright

I got a shocking quatation, i'm from Penang actually and i got quoted for Nokia N8, ori set for RM1530, is this the normal price? Or is it way too high? I tot it's only rm12xx or rm13xx?

I just called Nokia centre to ask for price and they told me Nokia local distro already stop carrying orange N8 due to low demand

Hi guys, later i'm going to collect my Nokia N8, before I pay my money, may i know mostly what do i need to check? And can you guys please teach me how to do the following....

1. How to know the phone is second batch?
2. How to know it's latest firmware, what version is it?
3. How to check the hang issue or sudden death issue?
4. How to check the purple screen issue?
5. What else do I need to check?

Please help as i dont wanna get a problem unit

Just got my Nokia N8, and it's PR1.1
I've installed an anti fingerprint screen protector onto the screen, the color of the phone become darker and slightly blur.
I've tried taking photo with it and the camera give below average result....

Setup my Nokia N8 today and finally put my sim card into it, firstly, I've setup Mail, social, Ovi store and etc by using WLAN, the problem is, when I disconnected the WLAN, it will connect back automatically,

I've google and set all the things I found on google but still the same
