Well, Mobile phone technology have been slowing down, and none and I repeat NONE even attract me. Dual-core phones only add a little speed and performance. And there is fragmentation be it from Android or Symbian. What I'm not pleased with Nokia and what made me mute from this topic is how slow Nokia takes to improved. Yeah I know there will be WP7 Nokia, but I expect Nokia to bring overall improvement, MeeGo for example. But demn, they aint bother bout it for now. I don't really know whats got into Nokia. They've updated the phone, yet aint practical to use. sigh...

Slowing down?
No, its speeding up.. the hardware had catch up and now its the software turn to catch up to the rhythm. Once the optimisation completes, it will be worlds apart. Whether or not you need it would be another question mark. And judging from past replies in S3 phones thread, they will still proud to own the most efficient phone in the world by self proclaim.

Real life expectation to me, its slowing down. I expect the speed would make lagless, seems even after dual-core, iphone 4 is still lagless phone de. hardware improvement is same like notebook/desktop era, from 1 single cpu core, to dual core than quad core, than hex core than etc2. to me, hardware is getting good, but improve of experience, is slowing down. SGS II? I can still see some "slow" or "lag" even its speed faster than my SGS. Duhhh

crap browser..... pls do something before releasing...

No matter what due to resolution of the screen browsing experience sux. First knight know from the n900 screen resolution make a difference

It's a known issue, while waiting for better V2 browser, try Opera Mobile V11 just out days ago..can multitouch liao

Nokia trying to be different from others. Being crap also can get award ma. They aint gonna get the best so might as well aim for being most lousy. Multi touch is not really the big point. Even Opera agrees that fit the text to the screen width while zooming improve readability regardless of the screen resolution.

Hmmm basically not much to check. U can see the guide on front page for wat to do when u get a new phone. My advice is u play around the phone with ur sim card inside for at least half an hour lo.
