Well there's a COLLECTOR, LIMITED, SPECIAL game edition corner, why not a thread for ordinary gamer like us?

I pretty much only ever buy normal games, mostly because I don't care for collector's editions.
I mean they're neat and all, but I honestly don't see the point. I'm paying extra for stuff I'm never gonna use or are just there for bragging rights, doesn't hold any water for me. Unless I really really like the game, Fallout New Vegas for example. I was a big fan of Fallout 3, not to mention I pirated that and since I was never gonna play it again, I figured forget buying an ori FO3 and repay them by getting a CE. I was also really interested in the comic and the DVD. |

Sorry lah, got my PS3 as a present for my 17th birthday, my dad usually buy me the games. I just say, and he go buys them, but once a month larrr. The sega cd game, can play on PC meh? And what system is the orange one with a whirly2 thighy? Nintendo?

fighting games on MD are almost unplayable for me, due to the crappy d-pad and limited 3 buttons
those days fighting games are mostly played on SNES, and we spoilt a few SNES controllers and each of us had a thick calluses on our left thumb still remember one of my fren which is so good at SF2, he can beat any of us using left hand only or sometimes we'll each chip in a bit to pay and play NG games at the video games shop, i still remember it's RM8 for half hour game of NG |

You should buy those CD plastics bags rm5 a pack in 100 yen shop or daisho and wrap them to avoid getting dirty. & Pack the spine cards in the manual or plastic bag behind the case to avoid getting teared off.

OK, I will check Daiso if they have the DVD sleeves. But I also realise that wrapping them means I am scared to play wih them so they are left inside the shoe boxes and not played..... |

I wrap all my games old or new. I even wrap the manuals because they are too easily damaged when taken out of the jewel case. Takes few seconds to take them out and put back but it's not like you swap games every 1 hour.
For DVD you can go to Giant plastic bag section there's 1 size of plastic that fits DVD just well. Just add a tape folded on top for ease of sealing/opening. |
