it is just not smooth, even worse than my old car. Like if i swift from gear 1 to 2, there is a "glok" sound. and i need to push hard. I have this problem before in my wira, after changing the gear oil, problem solved.

DM3, how about yours? smooth? i worry it is factory defect.

I am not sure if this is normal, but my inspira is my 3rd manual transmission car, the previous 2 did not have this sound.

Hi everyone, I am considering getting the Inspira to replace my '06 City soon. test drove the 1.8cvt today and was quite satisfied overall except for the underpowered feeling when trying to overtake, feels like not enough 'ummph', not even as good as my City.

I'm assuming this is non-existent in the 2.0cvt. Any 2.0 owners can comment on this?

Sure or not?? i've tested City and Inspira 1.8 yesterday....Inspira way more powerful and less noisy. Maybe because it's not so noisy you get the feeling not enough oompph....

No bro...still trying to figure out....i will be checking out some 2nd hand Sylphy this weekend...if not Sylphy, most likely Inspira.

You sold your Savvy oready? I am keeping mine...good for city drive and save on FC. Much better than Honda city...haha.

I won't sell my Savvy either...why?? It beats the shit out of all the P2 junk, solid, superb drive and handling, fuel efficcient, powerful (i feel this car more powerful than City 1.5 after test driving yesterday).

Why would anyone wants to sell it?(Unless it's the AMT version lar).

after much delay & consideration (with a lot of help from this thread ).. i decided to go with 2.0.. but still, deep down, still fear i will regret and miss the feel of manual.. hmm.. and have to sabar for a while as no more cash to do any modification and so many mods also coming out for 1.8 (hint2 speedworks) .. adusss, sempat tukar order lagi ni..... 

btw, anyone has experience on spraying rim diff colour? saw someone do it near my office and looks pretty good & even.. just not sure how long it can last?

the 1.8M looks nice, just that i'm always comparing it to Forte 1.8SX. how would you guys convince a person in my shoe?

sorry, 1.6sx. considering inspira cos a little cheaper, more power and being MT.

how's the 1.8M fuel consumption?

You are lucky, most Inspirians here dont get back the extra 0.8L oil from their SC.... prolly its dependent on the foreman, my oil was left in the car but some Inspirian didnt get theirs, the same Sect 13 PJ SC...
