nice, just need higher spoiler now tongue.gif
and why use maxxis tyre?

cheap and grip level is compareable to re001 in dry, but definitely better in wet than re001. smile.gif

When u use K&N air filter can run up to 225 or 230 & ur rpm can go till 6200.
*
well, not so sure bout that, but i definitely feel its running out of breath once it passed 180kmh. Coz stock fd2 definitely can do 228kmh. smile.gif

I already run it. but bcfull with ori absorber. bit goyang. mine already change spring. 230kmh steady.
*
stock taking corners at 140-160kmh at trunk roads around bukit beruntung still okay. wanna max out handling performance, fully adjustable suspension is the only answer. smile.gif but then, the lancer/inspira is really lacking in power. sweat.gif

QUOTE(DM3 @ Mar 18 2011, 02:30 PM)
ofcourse compare with ur fd2, the top speed rated 198km/h for 2.0 cvt inspira/lancer only
*
if it has a 2.0 manual. confirm it can fly. The mitsu's CVT very inefficient when come to CVT transmission. tongue.gif

QUOTE(ckk125 @ Mar 18 2011, 02:42 PM)
haha..maybe it is due to the drag, the lancer/inspira's body is bigger and heavier.. smile.gif
*
for top speed its possible. less aerodynamic. but i like the shark nose. mitsu's legendary trademark from the galant.
but lack of power is mainly due to the CVT. too much powerloss. some lancer owners dynoed their LGT on dynojet machines. only 114whp while the fd2 did 126whp on the same dyno and both stock.

so watch out for the 1.8 manual. those might even give my fd2 a run for its money. sweat.gif

wow didnt  knw tht tyre also good/better than RE001
*
i wont say the maxxis victra i-pro is better than the re001 on dry, but i would say 80-90% of re001 dry grip. thats why i say comparable. but in wet, the re001 is okay when new, but once u hit 60% of the tread life, thats when things get real "fun" on wet. the maxxis perform way better in wet be it aquaplanning or lateral grip. Even the tread has less than 50%, the aquaplanning may be worse but not as bad as re001, but on wet lateral grip, it still perform. and for the price. its so much cheaper. it used to be price at 295 per pc last year on size 225/45/17. now its 330 but still much cheaper than re001 at over 500 per pc. ZR rated with AA coumpound and treadwear 240. it is ultra high performance spec u have there. smile.gif

Gouki,

have u try the hankook Evo 12? its damn nice and good in wet n dry.

Added on March 18, 2011, 3:54 pmand cheap also

Added on March 18, 2011, 3:54 pmcle,

seriously ur engine needs manual then u are talkin. tongue.gif
*
evo12, yes, but i dun think its enuff for me, sidewall flex is obvious. the maxxis sidewall is much harder. high speed cornering is my concern. i would not say hankook is bad, but after tried so many tires, the most value for money and yet with performance that fulfil my driving style. maxxis is the only one for now. Federal 595evo is good but their pricing is increasing rapidly since they are getting famous now. besides i change every 2 sets of tires per year.

edit: besides, the maxxis has better compound. lateral grip n under braking is obviously better.

yellow, just like stock headlamps, but of course, it is much brighter.

if want to go for brightness, there is philips x-treme power, philips x-treme vision(latest and brighter than x-treme power), osram nightbreaker plus(very good as well but only h11 avaliable - foglights)

Added on March 24, 2011, 8:00 am

of course HID, but dont want take the risk with jpj
*
seriously, dun bother bout osram nightbreaker. it wont last. blew mine on my foglight. my philips extreme power +80% still going strong on my highbeam.

come on guys, i dont mean to attack inspira or anything particularly. as for my jazz, never have issue for the CVT even i clocked more than 100000km b4 i sold it.

to be honest. i did revved the inspira to overtake cars and engine braking n etc. no issue. the overheating only arise when i maintain at 210+kmh near the alor gajah stretch with partial throttle. so the rpm is definitely not high rev. after 5mins at that speed, there goes the warning light. on the way back from tangkak to KL, i maintain at cruising speed around 180-200kmh. no issues. its weird considering the 10+kmh threshold margin. but i believe the overheating is just a warning it went up to the safety temp point. its definitely not hot enuff like overheating engine oil to break the oil molecules. smile.gif

Precisely my point, just a warning and safety measure. Anyway ur bro so heartsick now.. hahaha...

hahahaha, i told him its okay. nothing to paranoid about. i think he is a little disappointed considering proton didnt solve the overheat prob completely from mitsu as they claimed. lol. laugh.gif

QUOTE(Matrix @ Apr 25 2011, 11:27 AM)
Excellent point. I am using it as normal family sedan...no worries for me, hehe....120km-140km/h at most on highway.

Most importantly, can fly up Genting no problem whlie leaving the Dugong and City behind biting my dust crawling like snails.
Priceless.  laugh.gif

i have to agree to this, many dugong, city, forte or even myvi wanna play with me. they are just wasting my time. yawn.gif tongue.gif
