QUOTE(fremont88 @ Apr 20 2011, 05:11 PM) guys, i got 2 questions... i can only answer your first question. 1. Is K & N drop in filter a worthwhile purchase? 2. 10k service coming up, planning to change to fully syn. Just go for Petronas Syntium 1000, or get other alternatives? Tks. yes worth it. You spend RM300 (life time they claim) plus the washing kits RM70 (can wash up to 7 times as per sales person told me). Then you will never need to change the air filter anymore, just need to purchase the washing kits. As bonus, you gain more power. |

QUOTE(Matrix @ Apr 21 2011, 06:26 PM) I've done some research...it seems that Turbo engine actually SAVES fuel rather than drinks more fuel. And there seems to be a trend to turbocharged smaller engines to get higher output. How pratical is the result i dunno lar. not really bro, example, 308 vti consumption lower then the turbo one. Here's a good read: http://autospeed.com.au/cms/title_Turbod-f...31/article.html Added on April 21, 2011, 5:35 pm QUOTE(Poadster @ Apr 21 2011, 06:25 PM) I was with the foreman all the way, chat and tok kok.... in Sect 13 PJ good for you. during my 1k service, the mechanic sapu my 0.8 liter. He told me first time need to put in 5 liters, which is bullshit. No tin kosong as proof though. He left the spare oil in the front seat, and even left the filter box in my boot, he say for reference... That was also how I learnt that not all foreman knows how to tweak an Inspira way back in Jan 2011, he didnt know how to lift up my headlamp throw.... i went to this during my 1k service, not far from your place. The only thing that i dont like is they did not give me back my left over 0.8 liter of engine oil. Remember to "remind" them before you pass them your key.

QUOTE(Poadster @ Apr 22 2011, 04:36 PM) Jadi, kalau BM aka Malay kamu power sangat, kenapa tak tanya dalam BM... dan lain kali tanya bersopan sikit.... tak salah nak tanya, tapi bila nak tanya, jangan tunjuk lagak bila orang lain bagi petunjuk.... ada faham??? haha, Poadster, your bahasa not bad at all. SPM dapat A? Pergi main jauh jauh.... |

QUOTE(Matrix @ Apr 22 2011, 04:48 PM) 3 years bro!!!!! I asked the guy specifically! 70,000km or 3 years which ever come first. That means if 2 years you jalan 70km, then too bad lar, then rest u have to pay. confirm 3 years for both 1.8 cvt and mt. It is on their website.I dumped EXORA idea liao...think think think....this Campro Turbo engine...reliable or not dunno, sucks fuel or not dunno....then have to wait another 2 years to see the Campro Turbo cars feedback!!! Better stay with tested and proven MIVEC engine!!!! Called my SA....gonna go and book tomorrow!!!!! WAKAKAKAKA! (unless my almighty missus come and splash me with cold water again....). Anyway, my mileage very low...4 years Myvi < 60km....Savvy < 40km....3 years no need to pay maintenance...woo hooo! But they only give semi oil...u guys use full synth or semi synth??? http://protoninspira.com Attached thumbnail(s) |

i have 70% city drive and 30% highway. average 11km/L aka 9.1L/100km. Even if i drive very aggressively, the worst i can get is 8km/L.
I touched 192km/h @ 5.2k rpm, so no problem to break 200km/h for sure. Mine is 1.8MT. |
