you will not see much difference in specs between engine oils if they're rated around the same(eg. 5w40 vs 5w40). the real difference between fully syn and semi syn is that the latter is made up of mineral oil + syn oil. mineral oil cannot last long and under high heat will break down and turn into sludge(black gooey things) which is why you have to change semi syn oil more frequently. the specs may be the same when it's in the bottle, but the quality of the semi syn drops significantly faster compared to a fully syn oil once it's inside your engine.

Thanks for the tip...the only problem with Exora now is the underpowered engine....once they fix the power problem, this will be a perfect MPV at unbeatable price...spacious, great handling for an MPV, sturdy (definitely >> Alza) and a decent engine. For some strange reason (lucky for me), my wife don't like Alza's look...(but she likes Myvi!!! )...haha...i don't like anything Perodua. Hopefully, the new Exora has at least 5 speed auto-tranny + the Campro CPS/CPE. I heard it'll be CVT...dunno true or not though....

Persona is almost C segment car(maybe B-?? lol). Dump in a 1.6 Campro Turbo , redesign it (the Tuah design) and you have very serious contendor to C-segment also.

i juat finished my 10k service. actually i went early, as my mileage was only 7800km. but after service, when the engineer wanted to reset my next service reminder, they cannot do it.

after refering to EON, they say, it must be closer to the service mileage or mth, before it can be reset. therefore, they asked me to go again when the service reminder is closer, so that they can reset it. currently, 3100km to go. is that normal for others here?

just tried it...i change to gcc10, my meter now 7800, time to service 2200. i try to clear, and it did clear. but is just say maintenance required.

after i see that warning, what else shud i do? cause i set it back to gcc10, or nas10, it will go back to 2200/5mths for service. can we reset the service interval, or still need proton to reset it?

Or, do i need to wait till my 2200km is up, the warning come up, then only i clear it?
