HOW TO: Disable Facebook's Lightbox effect/ Facebook's New Photo Viewer Function

At first, I thought it was awesome to have the lightbox effect in Facebook, then after a while, it became really annoying I think, for most of us. fortunately, WE HAVE AN ESCAPE ROUTE FOR THAT!!



Just get the extension for Google Chrome or addon for your Mozilla Firefox!
You may think why it does not work after you have installed the extension/addon. Just close your Facebook tab and reopen a new tab for Facebook, it should work.

To manage your Google extensions, click -> Tools -> Extensions.

UPDATED:1/4/2011



You can also manually delete the "&theater" at the end of the URL to disable the lightbox effect manually.
