My niece was called for an interview this Sunday from UiTM for the Arch Deg program.

Could you give us a general idea what sort of questions that may be asked by the interviewers, mr azarimy?

normally questions would revolve around:

+ why architecture and why not something else
+ the motivation to do it
+ inspirations (be it a person, a building, something u read etc)
+ why do u think u're good enough
+ why this university

and so on.

then there's another part of the interview which will explore ur problem solving skills. nothing too fancy. if u've done some IQ tests, u'd do just fine.

I've already register foundation in UTAR..and i'm going to the 3-years architecture degree programme after foundation.
I have to choose utar but not taylor,because my parents cannot support the tuition fees.

I wonder if UTAR is really a good choice? i mean, i'm afraid about the degree programme because admin didnt even mention about it either in FAQ or appear in the chart..

I'm afraid that i would waste alot of time,which i mean, all those 4 years.

is it a good choice? probably.

is it the better choice (as compared to other universities)? probably not. it's a relatively unknown school when it comes to architecture.

U can pinjam ptptn for ur Degree Tuition Fee if u choose Taylor,

but the ptptn loan cant cover d tuition fees,so sad.

we've finally received the namelist from UPU. our (UTM) interviews will be conducted between 3-5 may 2012 in several centers. at the moment, confirmed centers are UTM KL, UTM skudai and kuching and will be held concurrently.

My niece finished her interview with UITM last Sunday. She seemed happy and satisfied with the interview. Hopefully she'll get a place in UiTM for the degree program part 1. Results will come out on May 7. Told her to pray hard to God and solat hajat banyak2.

mr. azarimy I have a question to ask, I'm currently in my 1st studying BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology in UCSI, I'm planning to transfer to other school/ university. Is it possible for me transfer to IPTA?
