Nope. rm999. It looks great for gaming but not that good for watching TV(without astro). There's something wrong with the colour.

my 32" Hisense has been treating me well...good colours for astro and HD stuff. But might wanna let go coz now i'm itching to upgrade to a 42"

so whoever' interested to get this pm me...sitll has 2,3 years warranty and price will be very reasonable...been using it since end of Dec

btw- Hisense a very popular band in Australia if i'm not mistaken... smile.gif

All HDTV should have some adjustment that you can make to change the colours from the default setting. You may want to try some adjustment to see if the colour improves. For RM999, this is a good price for a Full HD 32" but then at this size you would not see much difference compared to a cheaper HD Ready set, unless you are using it as a PC display. Since Hisence is a relatively new brand from China, not much feedback on its performance and reliability but the PQ could be good. Certainly it has a comprehensive range of input/output ports but seems to lack preset modes where you can tweak to your liking. The older Chinese brand available locally, Haier, also seems not that popular since it is not that much cheaper than the more established Japanese/Korean brands. Just my view.

The colour settings helped a bit but still not as good as my Toshiba CRT SDTV(surprisingly). It's excellent for gaming. If you have Astro, the colour quality should improve drastically right?
